摘要: An instrument installation system is provided which uses interchangeable hardware components and improved methods to connect differential pressure transducers to process piping. The system is designed to permit the instrument to be close coupled, direct mounted to the process connection or close coupled, support mounted using substantially the same system in both designs with simply the addition/subtraction of interchangeable components. Close coupling and very close coupling ensure that maximum accuracy in the measurement is possible. Pre-aligned root valve pairs and flange adapters pairs are provided, along with further adapters used when needed, to allow a rigid pipe, direct mounting of the transducer to the process connection without flange alignment problems. The installation system forces the rigid pipe impulse lines into a horizontal coplanar alignment with the centerlines of the high and low pressure ports of the differential transducer to minimize measurement errors of the kind associated with prior art remote mounted instrument installations. An improved feature of the system over the prior art is also the elimination, if desired, of threaded connections in contact with the process fluid. The interchangeable hardware components are provided in different combinations that form instrument installation kits which provide substantial economies in design, procurement, installation, maintenance and servicing of process instrumentation.

摘要: An arrangement of probes (21) is described, which comprises a carrier (1) formed as an intermediate flange, in which a plurality of radially extending mounting openings (8) are provided. The inner surfaces of the carrier are provided with an electrically insulating corrosion resistant layer, which is preferably an enamel layer. The carrier is having a polygonal outline and plane mounting surfaces surrounding the mounting openings (8). Measuring probes provided with a mounting flange (17) can be exchangeably and sealingly attached to the mounting surfaces (9). By arranging different probes a large number of different measurement functions and supervision functions can be achieved. As an example, carrier sleeves (12) comprising a window can be built in, so that a visual observation or a turbidity measurement can be performed.

Auch kann ein Rohrprofil (12) an dem Einsatzteil (10) dicht angeschlossen werden, welches dann im Bereich des Stegstutzens (16), außerhalb des Kreuzungsbereichs mit den beiden Flanschstutzen, vorhanden ist. Der Außendurchmesser dieses Rohrprofils (12) ist kleiner als der Innendurchmesser des Stegstutzens (16). Ferner ist das Dichtmittel (38) zwischen der im Einsatzteil (10) vorhandenen Öffnung und der dieser Öffnung benachbarten Ein- bzw. Auslaßöffnung des zugehörigen Flanschstutzen vorhanden.
