Beim Erstellen eines Näh-Datensatzes als Grundlage eines Nähprogramms zum Nähen eines Nahtverlaufes auf einem Nähgutstrukturen (27) aufweisenden Nähgut (26) wird zunächst eine Kamera durch Erfassen einer Verzeichnung über ein Bildfeld kalibriert. Dies geschieht mithilfe einer Aufnahme eines Kalibrierungsrasters. Ein Nähgutstrukturen (27) aufweisendes Nähgutteil (26) wird auf einem Nähguthalter (25) fixiert. Dieser hat mindestens vier Positionsmarker (21 bis 24), die nach der Fixierung von der Kamera erfassbar bleiben. Eine x-Koordinate und eine y-Koordinate jedes Positionsmarkers (21 bis 24) sind in einem xy-Koordinatensystem einer Nähanlage absolut bekannt. Ein Ist-Bild des Nähguthalters (25) mit dem Nähgut (26) und den Positionsmarkem (21 bis 24) wird aufgenommen. Das Ist-Bild wird mit einem Soll-Bild überlagert, das eine Soll-Position von Nähgutstrukturen und einen Soll-Nahtverlauf im xy-Koordinatensystem der Nähanlage zeigt. Der Näh-Datensatz wird auf Grundlage erfasster Abweichungen zwischen dem Ist-Bild und dem Soll-Bild erstellt. In die Erfassung der Abweichungen gehen einerseits Kamera-Kalibrierinformationen ein, die beim Kalibrieren gewonnen werden, und andererseits die absoluten x- und y-Koordinaten der Positionsmarker (21 bis 24) im xy-Koordinatensystem der Nähanlage. Es resultiert ein Nähprogramm-Erstellungsverfahren, das höchsten Positionsanforderungen hinsichtlich einer Positionierung des Nahtverlaufs relativ zu den Nähgutstrukturen genügt.
