    摘要： According to one embodiment, a paper-sheet processing apparatus includes a feed unit (11), a pickup unit (14), an inspection unit (18), a stacking unit (66), a backup drive unit, a banding unit (68), at least one power supply, a mode setting unit, and a fixing unit. At least one power supply supplies electric power to electrically operational parts of the extraction unit, inspection unit, stacking unit, backup drive unit, and a banding unit. The mode setting unit sets a standby mode in which electric power supply to at least one of the electrically operational parts is suspended temporarily. While the standby mode is set by the mode setting unit, the fixing unit fixes the backup to a position for setting of the standby mode.

    摘要： A paper sheet processing system has a paper sheet processing apparatus and a paper sheet bundle wrapping apparatus. The paper sheet processing apparatus sends category information of a bundle of 100 paper sheets to the paper sheet bundle wrapping apparatus when discharging the bundle of 100 paper sheets. The paper sheet bundle wrapping apparatus classifies and accumulates the bundle of 100 paper sheets based on the category information when receiving the bundle of 100 paper sheets. The paper sheet bundle wrapping apparatus bands ten bundles of 100 paper sheets as a bundle of 1000 paper sheets. Since the paper sheet bundle wrapping apparatus receives the bundle of 100 paper sheets of different category from the paper sheet processing apparatus and accumulates the bundle of 100 paper sheets for every category to form the bundle of 1000 paper sheets, the usage rate of the paper sheet bundle wrapping apparatus becomes high.

    摘要： To provide a sheet binding device and a binding method capable of binding stably sheets independently of sheet shape dimensions. By feeding a paper strap K by strap feed rollers 24, tape catcher 21, in a state that the paper strap K is clamped by them, rotate along a locus R shown in the drawing in a direction of an arrow B1 shown in the drawing. In synchronization with this rotation, one hundred sheets PB are conveyed from left to right in a direction of an arrow A2 shown in the drawing. By this series of operations, the paper strap K is wound round the one hundred sheets PB. A strap holding member 26 has a contact portion 26a at its end and the contact portion 26a is permitted to make contact with the paper strap K, and a cylindrical body.is rotated, thus an angle θ formed between the one hundred sheets PB and the paper strap K can be adjusted. For example, even if the angle θ of the binding portion of the one hundred sheets is a large value, it is made equal to an allowable value θS or smaller by the strap holding member 26, thus curling of the one hundred sheets PB can be prevented.
