    摘要: Driving shield machines are known in the construction of tunnels through unconsolidated rock; in these known machines, the working face is shored up by supporting fluid in a working chamber of the driving shield machine sealed off from the tunnel. With these known driving shield machines, unconsolidated rock can fall out of control into the entire working chamber if the working face collapses during the tunnelling process and thus seriously jeopardize the safety of men working in the tunnel. To reduce this risk considerably, the driving shield machine according to the invention is provided with a partition (40) which can slide longitudinally and divides the working chamber (3) into two partial chambers (3', 3''). An aperture (52) is provided in the partition (40) and a tunnelling arm (10) extends through the aperture, which is designed so as not to restrict the mobility of the tunnelling arm (10). Since the partition can slide into a position adjacent to the working face, the latter can be given additional mechanical support if a collapse seems likely, without any need to interrupt the tunnelling process and provide support using the support fluid.

    摘要: The arrangement (100) comprises a bearer (10) one end of which engages a lifting device and the other end of which projects into an internal longitudinal recess (8) in a stopper rod (2). The stopper rod (2) has a fitting space (17) laterally widening the longitudinal recess (8), the side walls of which, which joint downwards, make a curved or conical transition into the longitudinal recess (8). The bearer (10) has at least one locking member (14, 24) which can be moved by an auxiliary fitting rod (36) insertable into the longitudinal recess (8) in such a way that it projects from the cross-section of the bearer (10) into the fitting space (17). To release the connection, once a nut (7) bearing on the front surface (11) has been released, it is merely necessary to shift the stopper rod (2) further upwards on the bearer (10), whereupon the locking members (14, 24) are automatically moved back into the cross-section of the bearer (10) and the stopper rod (2) can be withdrawn downwards from the bearer (10). It is thus possible to form the fitting space (17) from multi-use pressed sleeves (29) which are inserted at the same time as the ceramic stopper rod material is isostatically pressed.
