    摘要: A system for analyzing tire uniformity comprises of a light source for illuminating light on a tire to being tested; a diffraction grating disposed on the same axis line between the light source and the test tire, a photographing means for taking an image of a tire having a sin pattern on its outer surface formed by diffracted light through the diffraction grating, and an analyzer for determining a uniformity of the tire by calculating the deformation on the tire. It can be appreciated that the variation of radius or width of the tire can be measured in the unloaded state as well as the localized deformation in the sidewall can also be inspected without rotating the tire in the machine. Moreover, the inventive method utilizes a photograph having a sin pattern and analyzing the sin pattern by Fourier analysis to produce an image or numerical data on the monitor, thereby enabling the analysis process to be performed in a short period of time with precision and uniformity measurement not to be affected by the condition of the test center.

    摘要: In a pneumatic tire for a race car, the present invention offers a tire by way of providing a tread rubber layer being divided into a tread base layer (4) and a tread cap layer (5) disposed over the tread base layer (4). The tread base layer (4) is composed of a rubber material having a greater modulus than that of the rubber material for the tread cap layer (5). The shoulder region of the tread rubber layer is further divided into a shoulder base layer (41) and a shoulder cap layer (51), wherein the rubber material for the shoulder cap layer (51) has a less modulus than that of the rubber material for the tread cap layer (5). Thus, the moving of the rubber material in the tread portion (1) is suppressed, resulting in reducing the heat generation therein and also decreasing the change of the property of the rubber material within the tread portion (1). Consequently, the inventive tire is capable of enhancing the gripping and cornering performance for a long period of time during running at a high speed.

The steel cord is made of three or more steel filaments of which one or two filaments are regularly twisted, the other filaments are open-twisted and each filament is twisted in same direction. Each steel filament using carbon steel has the carbon content of 0.7 to 0.96 wt%, the tensile strength of the filament is in the range of 260 to 380 kgf/mm 2 , the twisting pitch is 10 to 20 mm, and each filament is plated with brass. The topping characteristic is improved and the uniformity of tyre is enhanced.
