    摘要: In a navigation system which has sensors for detecting a running distance, an azimuth, etc. of a vehicle, and a memory for storing map data, a probability density of a position of the vehicle is calculated on the basis of the sensor outputs and the map data for each of quantization units with which a probability computation determined by detection accuracies of the sensors and quanti­zation of the map data can be executed. In addition, a final stage calculation of DP matching between trajectory data obtained from the. on-board sensor data from a start point of the vehicle till a current time and a candidate route estimated from the road map data is iteratively executed, whereby a plurality of estimative vehicular positions and uncertainties (costs) corresponding to the respective estimative positions are iteratively evaluated, and a correct vehicular position is estimated by selecting at least one estimative vehicular position of low uncertainty (cost).

    摘要: A navigator system for a motor vehicle comprises a vehicle speed sensor (102) provided for determining a travel distance of the vehicle on the basis of the speed thereof, an azimuth sensor (101) for detecting the azimuth of the travelling direction of the vehicle, a cassette tape device (105) for storing digital road map information of a plurality of predetermined regions, a controller (100) for selecting a map of the desired region from the map information stored in the cassette tape device, determining the initial location of the vehicle in the selected map and updating the locating of the vehicle in the displayed map on the basis of the data fetched from the outputs of the vehicle speed sensor and the azimuth sensor, as the vehicle travels, a manipulating switch panel (Figure 2) for commanding the selection of the map and determination of the initial location of the vehicle, and a display unit (116) for displaying visually the selected map, the initial location of the vehicle and the displacement of the vehicle through graphic memory means. The road map data stored in the cassette tape device contain in addition to the data of standard maps at least the data which indicate the presence or absence of adjacent map and the number of magnified maps together with data of the magnified map. The manipulating switch panel include switches (202, 204) for selecting one of the standard map and the magnified map and is adapted to display whether a magnified map is available for the region in which the vehicle is currently located.

A principal part of a gas turbine is set in advance based on roughly set conditions, and the number of stages of a compressor and the number of stages of a turbine, which can provide conditions suitable for a desired cycle, are set based on the set principal part. The compressor and the turbine each having the set number of stages and included in the principal part are combined with each other to construct the gas turbine. When the set number of stages of the compressor or the turbine differs among a plurality of desired cycles, a substantially disk-shaped member having an outer periphery, which forms an inner peripheral wall of a substantially annular flow passage of the compressor or the turbine, is assembled into the cycle having a smaller number of stages so that the bearing-to-bearing distance is kept constant in the gas turbine operated in the plurality of desired cycles.
