摘要: The disclosure relates to a positioning node 54, a CN node 53, a RN node 52, and a UE 51 of a wireless network, and to a related method of supporting UE positioning. The method comprises transmitting UE radio access capability information (S30) and/or radio network node capability information (S10) to the positioning node 54. The transmission of UE radio access capability information is either unsolicited or triggered by a request (S20). The UE radio access capability information may be transmitted from the CN node (S31), from the RN node (S32) or from the UE (S33), and the RN node capability information is received from the RN node itself (S10). The positioning node 54 supports positioning of the UE 51 based on the received UE radio access capability information and/or the radio network node capability information.

摘要: A system and method (40, 50, 70, 80) for meeting a pre-defined requirement for uplink (UL) measurements when low-activity state configuration, and for allowing a node to adapt or adjust the UL signals, is disclosed. Particularly, a measuring node (30a) is configured to adapt its UL measurements responsive to obtaining information about low-activity state configuration of a transmitting node. The transmitting node (30b) is configured to adapt its UL transmission when configuring low-activity states to comply with the pre-defined requirement or rule. A configuring node (30c) initiates configuring the UL radio signal transmissions for the transmitting node, and adaptively configures the low-activity state configuration and/or the UL radio signal configuration for the transmitting node.

摘要: A home base station (HBS) (104, 801) performs radio channel measurements to detect one or more user equipments (UEs) (107) not served by the HBS which may be in a potentially interfering environment caused at least in part by the HBS. A database (812) of historical channel data (channel fingerprinting) of the HBS coverage area is used to predict the channel conditions and expected interference signal power seen by the detected UE(s). Based on a combination of the radio measurements (813) and historical channel data, the HBS can accurately and adaptively reduce its transmit power to a level that reduces or eliminates interference with the detected UE(s), while also not significantly degrading communication quality between other UEs served by the HBS.

摘要: Some embodiments herein disclose a method in a second node (12,13) for performing a positioning measurement on at least uplink signals transmitted by a wireless device (10) served by a first node (12) in a wireless communication network (1). The second node (12,13) obtains information related to a non-contiguous uplink configuration associated with a carrier frequency, wherein the non-contiguous uplink configuration further comprises one or more multi-cluster uplink transmissions from the wireless device (10). Furthermore, the second node (12,13) performs a positioning measurement on at least signals transmitted by the wireless device (10) in the one or more multi- cluster transmissions determined based on the obtained information.

摘要: Systems, methods, and apparatuses are presented for requesting parallel uplink wireless signal measurements (UL measurements), in which a measurement management apparatus determines information on UL measurements being performed or to be performed by a signal measuring apparatus over a predetermined measurement period. The measurement management apparatus further determines a capability of the signal measuring apparatus to perform parallel measurements. The measurement management apparatus determines an adjustment to a measurement configuration for the measuring apparatus. The measurement configuration relates to, for example, a number of parallel measurements to perform. The adjustment is based on a comparison of UL measurements being performed or to be performed by the measuring apparatus over a predetermined measurement period and the capability of the measuring apparatus to perform parallel measurements.

摘要: The disclosure relates to a method in a network node of a communications system, for enabling measurements performed by a wireless device, when MBSFN subframes are configured in the system. The method comprises determining (610) a measurement resource restriction pattern indicating subframes for performing at least one measurement for at least one cell, wherein the indicated subframes are non-MBSFN subframes comprising subframes that are not MBSFN configurable. The method also comprises transmitting (620) the measurement resource restriction pattern to the wireless device, for enabling measurements for the at least one cell according to the pattern. The disclosure also relates to a method in a wireless device for performing measurements when MBSFN subframes are configured in the system.
