The invention relates to a novel formulation based on two components, which, when added to items produced with epoxy vinyl ester or unsaturated polyester resin, provides same with electric charge dissipation and/or antistatic characteristics, maintaining the mechanical characteristics thereof and the possibility of dyeing the material in all of the possible colour ranges. The formulation has a first component which is an active substance which is an ionic salt that allows ion mobility, the cation being a compound based on the (R4)N,N,N-trialkyl-alkyl-ol-ammonium species, as it is or derivatised on the OH group, and a system that supports said active substance. This additive or formulation added to epoxy vinyl ester or unsaturated polyester resin can be used in the production of agglomerated stone, gel coat, sheet moulding composite or bulk moulding composite.

Unique 3-PPB monobenzoate analogs useful as plasticizers in polymeric dispersions, such as plastisols, melt compounds, and adhesives among other applications. The analogs are structurally similar to and/or derived from 3-phenylpropyl benzoate and heretofore were not known for use in industrial applications, particularly not as a plasticizer in polymeric applications. Depending on the application, the advantages rendered by the use of the inventive monobenzoate analogs include, among other things, excellent solvating properties and rheology, low viscosity and significantly improved viscosity over time, comparable or improved Tg suppression, set and open times, as well as health, safety and environmental advantages, over traditional plasticizers.

An electrochromic thermoplastic composition includes about 10 wt % to about 60 wt % a poly(vinyl alcohol), a poly(acrylic acid), a poly(acrylic acid) salt, a polyaniline salt, a poly(diallyl dimethyl ammonium chloride), a poly(ethylene-co-acrylic acid), a co-polymer of any two or more thereof, or a mixture of any two or more thereof; about 40 wt % to about 90 wt % of a protic solvent; and at least one electroactive material; wherein the composition does not include lithium chloride, tetrabutylammonium bromide, lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide, lithium triflate, and lithium hexafluorophosphate.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Polyurethanen mit erniedrigter Aldehydemission unter Verwendung hoher Mengen phenolischer Antioxidantien. Weiter betrifft die vorliegende Erfindung die aus diesem Verfahren erhältlichen Polyurethane, sowie den Einsatz solcher Polyurethane beispielsweise im Innenraum von Automobilen.

The invention relates to novel organopolysiloxane compositions which can be crosslinked by means of a condensation reaction. The compositions can be produced using (1) organopolysiloxanes containing condensable end groups, (2) at least three organosilicon compounds which have acyloxy groups (-OCOR) bonded directly to silicon, (3) condensation catalysts, (4) anhydrite, and (5) silicic acids in quantities of at least 1 and maximally 15 parts by weight, preferably maximally 10 parts by weight, for every 100 parts by weight of organopolysiloxane (1) with the proviso that (6) the additional use of kaolin is excluded and (7) additional fillers in quantities of maximally 25 parts by weight, preferably maximally 15 parts by weight, preferably maximally 5 parts by weight, in each case based on 100 parts by weight of organopolysiloxane (1), are additionally used, and (8) optionally additional materials which are normally additionally used in compositions that can be crosslinked by means of a condensation reaction and which differ from the components (1) to (7).

Die Erfindung betrifft eine antikorrosive Beschichtungszusammensetzung. Um eine antikorrosive, bei Raumtemperatur härtende Beschichtungszusammensetzung bereitzustellen, ist vorgesehen, dass die antikorrosive Beschichtungszusammensetzung, mindestens ein Polysiloxan und Metallpartikel sowie mindestens einen Vernetzer aufweist, wobei die Beschichtungszusammensetzung bei Raumtemperatur chemisch vernetzt. Die Erfindung betrifft weiter ein Verfahren zum Aufbringen der antikorrosiven Beschichtungszusammensetzung sowie das beschichtete Substrat.

The present invention relates to aqueous polyurethane dispersions prepared with no catalyst or very low loading of organic catalyst that can be used as cold sealable adhesives, are surfactant and solvent free and have low VOC emissions, are environmentally friendly, and provide for homogeneous and aging-resistant adhesives that can be used for cosmetic, pharmaceutical and food packaging applications. Also encompassed are processes for their production, compositions containing them and their use as adhesives.
