Abstract: A heating tape comprises an insulated heating element that includes a heating element layer comprising a polymer composite having conductive particles and at least one set of conductive electrodes at least partially embedded in the polymer composite and extending along at least a substantial portion of the length of the heating tape. A heating tape system for a pipe or other surface, further includes a power ramp controller having a solid state relay component to regulate an in-rush of current to the heating element. Abstract: The roll includes an air and water barrier article, a pressure sensitive adhesive disposed on the first major surface of the barrier article, first and second coating compositions disposed on the opposing second major surface of the barrier article, and a liner having a first major surface in contact with the first coating composition and the second coating composition. The first coating composition has a first peel adhesion to the first major surface of the liner that is lower than a second peel adhesion of the second coating composition to the first major surface of the liner. The pressure sensitive adhesive contacts a second major surface of the liner when wound in the roll, and a peel adhesion between the second major surface of the liner and the pressure sensitive adhesive is less than or equal to the second peel adhesion. There are also provided methods of applying barrier articles, films made using these barrier articles, and building envelopes made using such films.

Abstract: A decorative article comprising a main body portion that can be deformed based on the shape of an adhering surface, and can be fixed to the adhering surface via an adhesive layer, without substantially stretching during adhesion. The main body portion will not inelastically deform, even if an operator pulls on the main body portion, when adhering to the adhering surface. The main body portion is deformed based on the shape of the adhering surface. Therefore, when the operator deforms the main body portion based on the shape of the adhering surface and adheres the adhesive-backed decorative article to the adhering surface, it is not necessary to perform a position adjustment by pulling and stretching the main body portion. Furthermore, an adhesive-backed decorative article can be adhered to the adhering surface regardless of the shape of the adhering surface.
