摘要: The present invention refers to an in vitro method for the diagnosis or prognosis of Huntington's disease, preferably for the early diagnosis or prognosis of Huntington's disease. Said method involves assessing the level of expression of a tRNA fragment that comprises the 5'end of tRNAGlu/CTC (tRF-5Glu/CTC ) or 5'end of tRNAGly/GCC (tRF-5Gly/GCC ) in a biological sample obtained from the subject, wherein the identification of a deviation in the expression level with respect to a pre-established threshold value determined in healthy subjects is an indication that the subject may be suffering from Huntington's disease or has a poor prognosis.
