摘要： A coating composition containing 10-80% by weight of binder and 20-90% by weight of an organic solvent in which the binder is
(1) a chlorosulfonated ethylene vinyl acetate polymer,
(2) an epoxy resin,
(3) a polyamine curing agent, and optionally
(4) a bicyclic amidine.
The composition is used as a primer or topcoating for metal substrates and cures at ambient temperatures. The composition provides a finish that has excellent adhesion to the substrate and is tough, durable, weatherable and, when pigmented with electrically conductive pigments, can be used as a coating for electrodes used in electrochemical reactions, such as grids used in lead acid storage batteries.-

摘要： The invention relates to a method for the application of a polymer coating to a metal surface, polymer powder suitable for this method and metal objects covered with a polymer coating. In the method a powder of one or more polyolefins is applied to a heated metal surface. To increase the adhesion of the coating to the metal surface without deteriorating the stability of the coating over a long period of time, the invention is characterized in that a powder mixture is used consisting of 0.5 - 80 % by weight of unstabilized polyethylene powder and 20 - 99.5 % by weight of a powder of stabilized polyolefin.

摘要： Air- and/or oven-drying lubricant paint compositions are disclosed which are useful for providing dry-film lubrication for substrates. The compositions comprise a binder resin dissolved in an orgnic solvent, optionally containing an extender, and further containing a polyalkylene wax which may be modified or unmodified. The dry-film lubricant provides a coefficient of friction which is lower, more uniform and of a narrower range than the compositions of the art.
