摘要: A wave energy converter (10) comprises an energy absorption unit (100) arranged to absorb energy generated by movements of water when the wave energy converter is arranged in a pool of water, an energy accumulation unit (200) connected to the energy absorption unit, and a power generation unit (300) connected to the energy absorption unit. The energy accumulation unit is arranged to accumulate energy from the energy absorption unit when the energy absorption unit absorbs more power than the power generation unit generates and to dissipate energy to the power generation unit when the energy absorption unit absorbs less power than the power generation unit generates. By providing hydraulic components in these units, an efficient and flexible wave energy converter is provided.

摘要: Wave-power plant where the waves are guiding water into a basin, and where power is produced when water flows back into the sea through a turbine. The basin exhibits a bottom (4) positioned at least several typical wave heights down into the water, a rear wall (3), two side walls (2), a front wall (1) fronting the waves, and for larger plants, at least one partition wall (5) dividing the basins into several smaller basins. The front wall (1) and one or more division walls (5) are covered by apertures provided with check-valves (6) to allow through flow toward rear basin (14) providing water to at least one turbine (8). The basin can rest with its bottom (4) directly upon the seabed (13), and in deeper waters, above the seabed with the bottom (4) of the basin also being covered by apertures exhibiting check valves (6) for flow into the basin.

摘要: This invention relates to a surface level follow-up arrangement for a wave energy recovery unit where the wave energy recovery unit comprises at least a panel element hinged at its lower edge onto the base at the bottom of the sea with the help of one or more support structures and one or more support shafts to make a reciprocating motion in response to kinetic energy of waves or tidal currents. The arrangement comprises at least a surface level follow-up means capable to change the vertical position of the upper edge of the reciprocating panel element along with the change of the vertical position of the surface level caused by a tidal fluctuation

摘要: The invention pertains to energy production by capturing simultaneously water potential (surface height differences due to waves) and kinetic (flow of water due to e.g. waves, tide or streams) energy. The plant can have tidal compensation (2, 3, 22, 23) to avoid energy flux streaming over the plant in high tide, and directional stabilizing arrangement to turn it automatically parallel to wave crests. Surfaces capturing energy from flow have optimized movements to follow speed of water in different depths. Also energy conservation to filter output ripple can be arranged with twin-phase fluid accumulators (51, 55).

摘要: A gyrating wave power plant, comprising a body (1) floating on water with a main plane which in calm water is substantially vertical. The body is moored in an orientation with the main plane transverse to the propagation direction of waves. The body has its upper and lower sections provided with arched fins (2, 3). The fins (2) in the body's upper section curve downward when proceeding towards side edges of the body, and the fins (3) in the body's lower section curve upward when proceeding towards side edges of the body. The arched shape of the fins (2, 3) is an oval-shaped spiral with respect to a lateral swaying axis (A) of the body, which is perpendicular to the main plane.
