    摘要: A small-sized scroll compressor, in which a key is enhanced in strength without an increase in ring width, ring diameter and key width of an Oldham's ring. The Oldham's ring (31) is constructed such that an elliptical ring (31a) having a major axis and a minor axis in a first diametrical direction (X axis) and in a second diametrical direction (Y axis) is turned at predetermined angles in a direction opposite to the direction of shaft rotation to provide a rotated elliptical ring (31b) on x and y axes, and first keys (34, 35) in the first diametrical direction and second keys (37, 38) in the second diametrical direction are provided on the rotated elliptical ring (31b) to face each other. With the arrangement, the Oldham's ring (31) is not enlarged in ring width, ring diameter and key width and is shortened in arm length from points of stress concentration at key roots on the sides where the respective keys bear loads. Therefore, the key is decreased in bending moment to suppress vibrations at the time of high-speed and high pressure operation and improve durability at key portions.

    摘要: A scroll compressor has a pair of interleaved scrolls. An Oldham coupling is attached to the orbiting scroll to prevent rotation of the orbiting scroll. This Oldham coupling has keys that are slidingly received in slots. One side of each key is loaded while the opposite side is non-loaded. The non-loaded side of the key has a stepped or profiled surface to provide clearance to allow deflection of the key. In another embodiment, the stepped or profiled surface is provided on the non-loaded side of the slot.

The compression chambers (35) are preferably arranged between a compression crown (15) joined to the driving spiral (7) and a ring wheel (37) of the forcibly driven second spiral (9), so that axial counterforces compensate for the axial forces that act upon the bearings (29, 33) of both spirals.

    摘要: A scroll compressor (1) includes a fixed scroll member (73) and an orbiting scroll member (71). The scroll members each include a plate having an inboard surface and an outboard surface. A spiral involute or wrap (81 and 87) is formed on the inboard surface of each scroll member plate. The involutes mate to define suction zones at outer ends of the involutes and fluid pockets. The fixed scroll member (73) defines a fluid outlet (107) at the center of the involutes and two inlets positioned proximate the suction zones. At least two idler crank assemblies (109) are provided to maintain the phase relationship and running clearance between the scroll members. The idler crank assemblies each include two operatively connected cranks, one being in the fixed scroll and one being in the orbiting scroll. Ribs (131, 151, 153, 155, 157, 159, 161, 163 and 165) are formed on the surfaces of the plates to facilitate heat dissipation and to make the scroll members more rigid.
