When an overcurrent is detected, the movable contacts (5, 25) are rotated and an arc generated between contacts points is extinguished by arc-extinguishers (9, 34). The bases (2, 21) are insulating moldings principally comprising crystalline thermoplastic resin irradiated with an electron beam after molding.

The invention relates to an electric safety switch device (1), especially a protective motor switch, comprising a housing (12) consisting of duroplastic, a switching contact arrangement, a release device with at least one bimetal release, a release bridge that acts upon a switch latch and can be operated by the bimetal and a support for components (5). Said support consists of an insulating material. Various contact and connection components of the release unit can be pre-assembled on said support for components (5). The aim of the invention is to easily assemble the inventive device and to guarantee a stable bimetal position. To this end, the contact and connection components of the release unit are glued together in the housing (12) or in a part (13) of the housing and are fixed in the housing without an additional connection, whereby said components can be pre-assembled.

In the invention, an internal mechanism of a circuit breaker is divided into blocks or units of an arc-extinguishing chamber unit (400), a switching mechanism portion unit (500), an overcurrent tripper unit (600) and a manually operating handle (300), so that the respective units are inserted and assembled into a molded case sequentially in one direction to manufacture the circuit breaker. According to the invention, it is possible to provide a circuit breaker and an assembling method thereof in which the efficiency in automatic assembling can be improved.

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zur Anpassung von luftspaltbildenden Flächen eines Auslösers, insbesondere für Fehlerstrom-Schutzschalter. Die Aufgabe besteht in einer Anpassung der luftspaltbildenden Flächen (3, 4) von Anker (1) und Polstück (2) in einer materialabriebvermeidenden und zeitsparenden Weise. Die Lösung besteht im wesentlichen in dem Einsatz eines Ultraschallgenerators (6), mit dessen Hilfe der Anker (1) auf das Polstück (2) heruntergedrückt und angepaßt wird. Die Erfindung wird hauptsächlich angewandt bei Auslösern von Fehlerstrom-Schutzschaltern.
