摘要: The invention relates to an electric safety switch device (1), especially a protective motor switch, comprising a housing (12) consisting of duroplastic, a switching contact arrangement, a release device with at least one bimetal release, a release bridge that acts upon a switch latch and can be operated by the bimetal and a support for components (5). Said support consists of an insulating material. Various contact and connection components of the release unit can be pre-assembled on said support for components (5). The aim of the invention is to easily assemble the inventive device and to guarantee a stable bimetal position. To this end, the contact and connection components of the release unit are glued together in the housing (12) or in a part (13) of the housing and are fixed in the housing without an additional connection, whereby said components can be pre-assembled.

The aim of the invention is to simplify the construction of the inventive device in such a way that said device can be assembled more comfortably and that the threshold values for the instantaneous tripping device can be adjusted more easily. To this end, the armature (62) is axially and moveably accommodated in a receiving body (60) made of insulating material. Said body (60) accommodates a spring element (64) which impinges the armature (62) with a spring force against the release moving direction thereof. The d receiving body (60) thus fitted can be mounted into the release unit and can be exchanged.

The spacer piece is self-supporting during the screwing process. The aim of the invention is to achieve a simple, rapid assembly with a stable construction, whilst retaining the advantage of the permanent connection of the spacer piece. To this end, the spacer piece (3a, 3b) is attached to the housing base by segments (5) which are designed as predetermined breaking points. The inventive device can be used in switchgear housings.
