    摘要: At the onset of ageing or in the further course of their service life, colour picture tubes relatively frequently exhibit a rise in the field strength between the cathode (K) and the Wehnelt electrode (G 1 ) of the respective beam system on account of a blooming effect of the cathodes (K) which is known per se and reduces the spacing between cathode (K) and Wehnelt electrode (G 1 ). The cut-off regulation reacts to an effect of this type in a manner such that the reverse voltage acting between cathode (K) and Wehnelt electrode (G 1 ) is correspondingly reduced in order to be able to drive the same reference cathode current. However, the reaction of the cut-off regulation must be taken into account for the circuit design since this would otherwise result in an unacceptable reduction in the modulation range, which would, in turn, have an adverse effect on the maximum contrast setting.
    The invention provides a regulating device (10) which makes it possible to automatically compensate for an ageing-related change in the field strength between the cathode (K) and the Wehnelt electrode (G 1 ) of the respective tube system of a colour picture tube (1), the cut-off regulating voltage produced in the respective RGB colour channel on account of the cut-off regulation being used as the controlled variable for the regulating device (10).

    摘要: A method of and an apparatus for synchronizing reproduction using a plurality of video information reproducing systems are arranged such that synchronization pulses contained in video signals are integrated for each recording medium using as a starting point a required video postition identifying signal recorded on each recording medium, and integrated values are made to coincide with each other, thereby allowing the video information of all the recording media to be reproduced synchronously. Thus, since synchronization of reproduction is effected while the reproducing systems are operating, there is no need to temporarily stop the reproducing systems as has been done conventionally. Consequently, it is possible to effect synchronous reproduction even in the case of a CLV-type disk which cannot be temporarily stopped. In addition, the time duration required for synchronization can be reduced.

    摘要: A peak beam current leveler for use in a television receiver system which is responsive to the magnitude of the beam current supplied to the cathode of the cathode ray tube (CRT) exceeding a predetermined peak level to adjust the cathode peak beam current accordingly. The cathode beam current is supplied by a gain controlled video amplifier (38) to the cathode through the base-emitter junction of a transistor (56) The collector electrode of the transistor is connected with a resistor (58) for providing a voltage level proportional to the peak beam cathode current. A comparator circuit (70-80) is utilized to provide a gain control signal that controls the gain of the gain controlled video amplifier such that the higher the beam current the more gain reduction that occurs. Thus, the level of the peak current is automatically reduced to maintain good focusing of the display on the CRT.
