摘要: Novel cloth giving an unparalleled impression of new material and being rich in fashionableness and unexpectedness and a process for its production are disclosed. The cloth is a three-dimensional cloth with a special structure wherein groups of a plurality of raised fibers are unified at their tips in a flattened form to give scaly structures which cover the cloth surface layer. The process for producing the cloth comprises subjecting a raised fiber layer having many raised fibers to thermal pressing treatment to thereby adhere this tips of the raised fiber surface layer in a large area to thereby from a film, and crumpling it to split into smaller units to thereby from numerous structures. The three-dimensional cloth of the present invention can be widely utilized in various applications such as outerwe- ars.

摘要: Disclosed is artificial fur which comprises an erect pile layer consisting of a number of erect fibers (3) in different colors which are substantially complementary with one another, the fibers (3) being arranged adjacent to one another in the erect pile layer. This artificial fur bears an iridescence and presents clear changes in color depending on the direction or angle in or at which it is viewed or when it is moved.

摘要: An improved process for manufacturing fur-like pile cloth from a material pile cloth such as double velvet fabric (4) comprising two ground weaves (4a, 4b) and a plurality of binding piles (70) binding the two ground weaves or a double pile knitting (4), or from a material pile cloth having a plurality of loop piles (7c) projecting from fabric ground weave, knitting ground weave or non-woven ground weave (5), which process comprises destroying continuity of the pile yarns (7o, 7c) of material pile cloth by removing pile yarn-forming fiber without destroying at least a certain number of fibrous materials (2a) which will function as pin-yarns In the resulting fur-like pile cloth; and a continuity- destroying member (10) for use in practicing the process having a novel structure for destroying continuity of pile yarns (70, 7c) of the material pile cloth.

摘要: The present invention relates to a polyester-based fiber having crimps, in which, when the polyester-based fiber is suspended vertically and subjected to dry heat treatment at a temperature of 90°C or more and 120°C or less for 60 seconds under a load of 4 mg/dtex, a difference between a fiber length of the heat-treated polyester-based fiber under a load of 4 mg/dtex and a fiber length of the heat-treated polyester based fiber under no load is less than 3%. This provides a polyester-based fiber capable of imparting good appearance, sag-recovery and voluminousness to a pile fabric, while imparting high crimp removability to a napped surface layer portion of the pile fabric in a polishing process at a low temperature of 90°C to 160°C, and a pile fabric in which the polyester-based fibers are used, a method for manufacturing the polyester-based fiber, and a method for manufacturing the pile fabric.
