    摘要: A process for preparing modified diene polymer rubbers having an increased impact resilience, a reduced hardness at low temperatures and an improved processability, and useful as rubber materials for automobile tires and other industries which comprises producing a conjugated diene polymer having alkali metal end or ends, and reacting the alkali metal-containing polymer with (a) a silicon or tin compound of the formula: R a MX b wherein R is an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, a cycloalkenyl group or an aromatic hydrocarbon group, M is silicon atom or tin atom, X is a halogen atom, a is 0, 1 or 2 and b is 2, 3 or 4, and (b) at least one member selected from the group consisting of a nitro compound; a phosphoryl chloride compound of the formula (1):
    wherein R¹, R², R³ and R⁴ are an alkyl group; an aminosilane compound of the formula (2):
    wherein R⁵, R⁶ and R⁷ are an alkyl group or an alkoxyl group, R⁸ and R⁹ are an alkyl group, and n is an integer; an acrylamide compound of the formula (3):
    wherein R¹⁰ is hydrogen atom or methyl group, R¹¹ and R¹² are an alkyl group, and m is an integer; and an aminovinylsilane compound of the formula (4):
    where R¹³, R¹⁴, R¹⁵, R¹⁶ and R¹⁷ are an alkyl group.

    摘要: A polybutadiene having an average 1,2-bond content of 18 to 32% by mole, a branched polymer chain content of 60% by weight or more and a Mooney viscosity at 100°C of 40 to 90, the viscosity of a 5% by weight concentration solution of this polybutadiene in styrene at 25°C being 60 to 90 cps, and a process for preparing the polybutadiene comprising starting the polymerization of 1,3-butadiene in an inert hydrocarbon solvent in the presence of a Lewis basic compound and an organolithium compound, the latter compound being in an amount of 0.5 to 3 millimoles per 100 g of 1,3-butadiene, at a temperature selected from the range of 30 to 80°C, carrying out the polymerization by controlling the temperature so that the temperature at the end of polymerization may be 5 to 40°C higher than the temperature at the start of polymerization, and adding to the resulting polymer solution a polyfunctional halogen compound in an amount of 0.6 to 1 equivalent per equivalent of the organolithium compound to further react the polymer with the polyfunctional halogen compound.

    摘要: Block polymerization is carried out of a monovinyl aromatic hydrocarbon A (e.g. styrene) with a conjugated diolefin B (e.g. 1,3-butadiene or isoprene) in the presence of an organomonolithium compound as initiator and the active block copolymer A-BLi in stable dispersion is reacted with further monovinyl aromatic hydrocarbon or with dialkenyl aromatic hydrocarbon (e.g. divinylbenzene) or dihalogenated hydrocarbon (e.g. dibromomethane) to make an 'A-B-A' type block copolymer.
    The polymerization medium is a chained aliphatic hydrocarbon, which can be saturated or unsaturated, straight or branched chain e.g. pentane, hexane or heptane, non-polymerisable in the presence of the initiator and containing, to cause stable dispersion of the active A-Li polymer, 0.0001 to O.lwt % of a Lewis base, e.g. a cyclic or straight chain ether or a polyether. The monomer proportions are such as to give a weight ratio of (A+A'): B in the final copolymer of 10:90 to 65:35, preferably 10:90 to 50:50.
    The solvent is easily removed by vacuum drying and is reusable.
    The product is a thermoplastic elastomer with good elastic recovery and tensile strength and highly consistent properties.

    摘要: An elastomeric copolymer of an aromatic vinyl compound and butadiene prepared by a solution polymerization method, which has a glass transition temperature of not less than -50°C and contains polymer chains modified with a trifunctional or tetrafunctional coupling agent, and which contains not less than 3 % by weight to less than 23 % by weight, based on the whole polymer chains, of polymer chains having a molecular weight of at least 5 times a molecular weight corresponding to a peak appearing on the low molecular weight side of a high performance liquid chromatogram of the elastomeric copolymer. The elastomer- ic copolymer has an excellent processability and shows a low rolling resistance and a high wet grip characteristic when used as a rubber component in tires.
