    摘要： A television system utilizes a common signal processing unit (e.g., a common chrominance demodulator) for processing a combined video signal suitable for coupling to a display device for producing an image having a portion attributable to a main video signal and a portion attributable to an auxiliary video signal. If the common signal processing unit relies upon the color information (e.g., color burst) contained in the main video signal, and the main signal is either non-existent or lacking such color information, then a substitute color information signal will be generated so that the combined video signal may be processed to produce a color auxiliary image, and a monochrome (or non-existent) main image.

    摘要： A method for controlling a system for processing stored information on a storage medium, includes the following steps. Information on the storage medium is played back using one of a plurality of repeat modes during a play mode of operation. During the play mode of operation, a user is provided with an opportunity to select a repeat mode from among the plurality of repeat modes. The playback of the information on the storage medium is then changed to the selected repeat mode during the play mode of operation. Apparatus for processing information includes playback circuitry for retrieving information from the storage medium during a play mode of operation. A user control device is coupled to playback circuitry and receives user input. Control circuitry, coupled to user control device and the playback circuitry, conditions the playback circuitry to retrieve information in the play mode of operation using one of a plurality of repeat modes, select one of the plurality of repeat modes during the play mode of operation in response to the user input, and retrieve information using the repeat mode during the play mode of operation.

    摘要： A signal selection system for a television receiver comprises means (102, 104) for selecting a particular modulated RF signal respective of video information from a plurality of modulated RF signals corresponding to respective channels in response to a control signal; means (108) coupled to said selecting means for detecting the RF signal to produce a pair of detected baseband signals representative of video and audio information; a pair of auxiliary input terminals (111) for receiving a pair of auxiliary baseband signals representative of video and audio information from one of a plurality of external sources; memory means (120) for storing label data representative of labels comprising at least one alphabetical character and selection data associated with respective ones of said modulated RF signals and the pair of auxiliary baseband signals; data entry means (116, 118, 128) for generating the label data and the selection data under user control, wherein the labels associated with both of the modulated RF signals and the pair of auxiliary baseband signals can be any label which is convenient for a user to identify respective ones of the channels and the external source associated with the pair of auxiliary baseband signals; and a microcomputer (110) coupled to the data entry means for storing the label data and the selection data in the memory means during a programming mode and for retrieving the selection data from the memory means for selecting one of the particular modulated RF signal and the pair of auxiliary baseband signals in response to label data input by the user during a signal selection mode.

The shield includes a land(31) with an outer edge (36) and an inner edge (35). The spring includes two portions, a clasp portion (42) attached to the shield at the land, and a contact leaf portion (44). The clasp portion includes a flat body (41) with a reverse bend hook (46) at a first end, and a latch (48) at an end opposite to the first end. The hook engages the outer edge of the land, and the latch engages the inner edge of the land. The leaf portion is connected to and extends from the latch.
