A multi-layer reduced pressure delivery apparatus is provided for applying reduced pressure tissue treatment to a tissue site. The multi-layer apparatus includes a tissue contact layer, a release layer, and a manifold layer. The tissue contact layer includes a scaffold adapted to contact the tissue site, the release layer includes a hydrogel-forming material and a plurality of flow channels, and the manifold layer includes a distribution manifold. The release layer is positioned between the tissue contact layer and the manifold layer to allow easy release of the manifold layer from the tissue contact layer following the administration of reduced pressure tissue treatment.
摘要:
Wound dressing system for introduction into a wound, comprising at least one planar capillary membrane system, characterized in that the at least one planar capillary membrane system is arranged in a pouch-shaped wound dressing which is closed at its outer edge and which has an upper face, a lower face and a pouch interior, wherein the lower face and the upper face are each formed from a planar material, and the lower face is permeable to fluids, wherein the at least one planar capillary membrane system is arranged in the pouch interior and is connected to at least one supply line, such that liquids, media, gases and/or other substances can be conveyed through the supply line and the at least one capillary membrane system, and wherein the at least one supply line is connectable, outside the pouch-shaped wound dressing, to a unit for supply or disposal.
摘要:
The present invention discloses a wound dressing with high absorption capacity and the method of manufacturing. The wound dressing is a knitted fabric comprising of a fluffy layer of gelling fibres and a layer of non-gelling fibres as the backing. The said gelling fibres are knitted onto the backing structure and the length fluffy fibre outside the backing structure is between 1-100 mm, preferably 5-50 mm. The wound dressing can be used to manage chronic wounds such as venous stasis ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers and other chronic ulcer wounds
摘要:
A method for covering an open wound by contacting the wound with a cellulosic bandage having a calculated amount of PHMB applied to the bandage. The cellulosic bandage can be prepared by providing at least one rolled beam of cellulosic material (12) onto a perforated drum (14), inserting the beam of material into an enclosed vessel (10), adding PHMB into the vessel, and circulating the PHMB for a predetermined period of time.
摘要:
A water dispersible, biocompatible, non-toxic, seedless Group IV nanowire having an etched surface and surface oxide is provided. Also provided is a method of forming water dispersible seedless Group IV nanowires, comprising the steps of providing pristine seedless Group IV nanowires, and reacting the nanowires with a solution of an acidic amino acid to etch the nanowires and promote the formation of a water dispersible oxide layer through the formation of etched nanowires.

The present invention relates to substituted cellulose acetates and methods of use thereof. One embodiment of the present invention provides a diaper having an inner layer having an absorbent core having a substituted cellulose acetate having a polar substituent that has an oxygen atom covalently bonded to a nonmetal selected from the group of sulfur, phosphorus, boron, and chlorine; wherein the nonmetal is present in at least about 0.01% by weight of the substituted cellulose acetate; and an outer layer.
摘要:
The invention relates to a set of wound care articles, comprising at least one first planar wound care article comprising hydroactive polymers and at least one second wound care article comprising hydroactive polymers, wherein the second and optionally also any additional wound care articles have a lower liquid retention and/or a lower liquid absorption capacity than the first wound care article.
