The invention relates to an adhesive composition which can be used, for example, as an adhesion primer and which is based on a polyisocyanate compound and a polyester or vinylester resin comprising functional groups (e.g. hydroxyl) which are reactive with respect to the isocyanate groups of the polyisocyanate, the total number of isocyanate groups being in excess in relation to the total number of functional groups belonging to the polyester or vinylester resin. The polyisocyanate compound is preferably a diisocyanate and the resin is preferably an epoxyvinylester resin, particularly novolac and/or bisphenolic based. The inventive composition can be used as an adhesion primer together with a secondary adhesion layer which is preferably based on a polyvinylpyridine-styrene-butadiene elastomer and a polyester or vinylester resin. The invention also relates to the use of one such adhesive system for the bonding of a cured polyurethane to a diene elastomer composition in the crude state, such as in the production of rubber articles comprising road-holding systems for motor vehicles and, in particular, pneumatic or non-pneumatic tyres.

The object of this invention is to obtain an electrophotographic toner for electrostatic developing which has excellent grindability, fixing properties, anti-offset properties, storage properties and environmental stability. The binder resin for toner of this invention is characterized by a structure in which a polyester resin and a styrene resin are connected together through an epoxy radical derived structural unit. Qwing to the usage of the binder resin for toner described above, the toner of this invention has a balance of good fixing properties and anti-offset properties and has excellent environmental stability. Another binder resin for toner of this invention is characterized by having a wax derived structure along with the above structure, and it has improved grindability and storage properties along with the above properties.

The production process comprises expanding a starting mixture containing an epoxide mixture composed of an epoxide compound having a high reactivity with carbon dioxide and another epoxide compound having a low reactivity with carbon dioxide, a catalyst for immobilizing carbon dioxide, a polyisocyanate, a reactive blowing agent which generates carbon dioxide upon reaction with the polyisocyanate, and a polyol composition to thereby form an expanded urethane resin composition having closed cells containing at least carbon dioxide, and then immobilizing the carbon dioxide contained in the cells as a carbonate compound by the reaction thereof with the epoxide mixture in the presence of the immobilization catalyst.

Ferner betrifft die Erfindung ein Verfahren zur Herstellung dieser Verbindungen sowie deren Verwendung als wärmehärtende, einkomponentige, abspalt- und lösemittelfreie und temperatur- und lösemittelbeständige Polyurethan (PUR)-Klebstoffe.
