摘要:
A passenger conveyor (30, 60) with reduced pallet travel height is disclosed. The moving walkway (30, 60) generally includes a chain track (32) and a pallet track (40) separate from the chain track (32), a drive chain (34) movably disposed in the chain track (32), and a plurality of pallets (42) coupled to the pallet track (40). Each of the pallets (42) may be movably connected to the drive chain (34) and the drive chain (34) may travel at a different velocity than the plurality of pallets (42) in a portion of the passenger conveyor. Methods for reducing distance between passenger and return portions of an endless series of pallets are also disclosed.
摘要:
The invention relates to a people mover comprising steps (10) or pallets supported via wheels on support rails, which steps or pallets are connected to at least one drive element which is driven by a drive machine, whereby the steps or pallets are running in an upper conveyor track of the people mover in a conveying direction and in a lower return track in the opposite return direction. In the inventive people mover a support structure (16, 18) is provided in a short distance below the steps or pallets running in the conveyor track, whereby in connection with the support structure at least one sensing means (34, 36; 44) is provided which is configured to output a load signal dependent on a load applied to the support structure. This people mover offers an improved safety to passengers

A high-speed escalator for a sloped part, wherein when a step (5) passes a reversal part (F), a first link (21) and a second link (22) are moved while being extended and retracted, whereby even if a guide rail for drive rollers is formed in a simple arc shape, the moving route of drive rollers (11) can be maintained within the shape of the guide rail for the drive rollers, and thus the reversal operation of the escalator can be smoothly performed.

The invention relates to an arrangement for connecting a chain, especially a plate link chain (5), in operative connection with a roller (10), to a step or to a pallet of an escalator or a moving sidewalk, containing a hollow pin (12) provided on the roller side and a cylindrical extension piece (3, 4) provided on the step side or pallet side. The extension piece is guided inside the free space (14) of the hollow pin, wherein a sliding-contact bearing (17) is arranged at least radially between the circumferential surface of the free space and the outer circumferential surface of the extension piece.

Escalator with a series of steps (1a, 1b) connected to at least one drive chain (2), driven by a motor mechanism (3), travelling via an advanced track (4a) and a return track (4b) placed alongside, there being transition zones (5a, 5b) between two levels, said tracks (4a, 4b) respectively comprising a main set of guides (11a) and at least one set of additional guides (11b, 11c) for moving a movable step (1b), via the bearing (8a, 8b) thereof, parallel to a non-movable step (1a), so that they are positioned at the same height, creating a widened continuous platform which can accommodate a person with reduced mobility.

摘要:
A height (H) of a horizontal face of a tread step guide rail (3)(rail body (3a)) is set to a position obtained by adding a predetermined offset amount (δ) to the height of a tangential line (L) at a driving sprocket (9). Further, a bend portion (13) is provided at an end portion of the tread step guide rail (3), on the introducing side of driving sprocket (9). As a result, the tread step guide rail (3) changes from the horizontal face to the bend portion (13) at a standard position nearest to the driving sprocket (9). This absorbs speed irregularity of a tread step roller that comes close to the driving sprocket (9).
