    摘要： The present invention provides a disposable diaper and a diaper cover having inner seal parts which can prevent body wastes from leaking out of both sides of the diaper or both sides of the diaper cover. It is provided with a liquid permeable topsheet 2, a liquid impermeable backsheet 3, an absorber 4 which absorbs and holds liquid and is interposed between the topsheet and the backsheet, a belt 7 to which one end of the topsheet and backsheet is fixed, a connection 8 which is formed at one end of the belt and is connected with the other end of the belt, inner seal parts 5 and 6 provided at both sides of the topsheet in the lengthwise direction and arranged to be stretchable in the lengthwise direction, and fastening portions 5c and 6c fastened to the belt and provided at front ends of the inner seal parts.

Hierbei werden parallele und zueinander beabstandete Folienstreifen (4) aus einem elastisch dehnbaren Polymer in einer ersten Kaschierstation (9) zwischen zwei Materialbahnen aus Nonwoven (10, 11) einkaschiert und werden die Bahnabschnitte zwischen den elastischen Folienstreifen (4) miteinander verklebt. Das in der ersten Kaschierstation (9) gefertigte Laminat (12) wird einer zweiten Kaschierstation (13) zugeführt, in der zugfeste, nicht elastische Materialstreifen (7, 7) außenseitig auf das Laminat (12) aufkaschiert werden. Die nicht elastischen Materialstreifen (6, 7) werden auf Bahnabschnitte (5) des Laminats (12) aufgebracht, in denen die aus Nonwoven bestehenden Schichten unmittelbar miteinander verklebt werden. Die Bahngeschwindigkeit, mit der das Laminat (12) die zweite Kaschierstation (13) durchläuft, wird so gesteuert, dass diese Bahngeschwindigkeit stets kleiner ist als die Geschwindigkeit, mit der die Materialbahnen (10, 11) aus Nonwoven und die elastischen Folienstreifen (4) in der ersten Kaschierstation (9) während der Laminatbildung zusammengeführt werden.

    摘要： The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing an absorbent article in the form of a pants-type diaper or a sanitary panty, starting from a flat blank (A-C) which includes an elongated absorbent body (5) enclosed between two casing sheets (2, 9) which at opposing front and rear end parts of the absorbent body have side parts (19, 20 and 21, 22 respectively) which extend laterally beyond the body on both sides thereof, said method comprising the step of folding the blank around a transverse axis so that the end edges (16, 17) of the side parts lie edge-to-edge. According to the invention, at least one folded band (13) of flexible material is placed between each pair of front and rear side parts (19, 21 and 20, 22 respectively) which lie opposite one another in the folded state of the blank, and the free ends of the bands are fastened to adjacent side parts. The invention also relates to an article manufactured in accordance with the method.
