Abstract:
The present invention provides a butt-welded joint of a welded structure, including: a pair of target metals; a weld bead formed by irradiating a first high-energy density beam to a butt portion between the pair of the target metals, the weld bead having a width W on an irradiated side surface; and a pair of altered zones formed, on a surface of the butt-welded joint having the first high-energy density beam irradiated thereto, by irradiating a second high-energy density beam to the surface, the pair of the altered zones having a band shape extending in parallel to the weld bead, and the pair of the altered zones consisting of a pair of heat-affected portions and molten and solidified metals located on a right side and a left side relative to the center of the weld bead in the width direction.
Abstract:
Method for making tools for machines adapted for forming threads on cylindrical bodies by means of plastic deformation, which provides for arranging a hollow tubular support body (2B) made of metal material facing the work head of an apparatus of laser cladding type and provided with a laser beam emitter and with a nozzle for emitting a flow of metal powders. The method provides for the controlled advancing of the work head along the longitudinal extension (Y) of the tubular support body (2B) for a plurality of longitudinal strokes and the controlled rotation of the tubular support body (2B) with respect to the work head for a plurality of rotations. There is then the controlled deposit of the coating bead (5) on the peripheral surface of the tubular support body (2B) and then the forming of a thread with excess material with respect to the profile of the thread to be made by means of the aforesaid controlled deposit of a plurality of adjacent beads during the combination of the controlled advancing of the work head and the controlled rotation of the tubular support body (2B). Finally, a step is provided for grinding the excess thread by means of removal of material which is outside the programmed profile of the thread.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an novel method of producing heat exchangers having at least two fluid circuits each comprising channels, the method employing diffusion bonding achieved using the hot isostatic pressing (HIP) technique, and to a heat exchanger obtained using this method.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The present invention provides a submerged arc welding method attempting to enhance toughness of a welded zone with low heat input and capable of achieving deep penetration and a sufficiently wide bead width in welding a thick material at a weld speed of 3 m/min or less. In the submerged arc welding method, a first electrode at the head in a welding direction has a wire diameter of 3.9 to 4.1 mm, two electrodes are arranged on both sides holding a weld line therebetween at the tail end in the welding direction, the wire tip positions of the two electrodes on a surface of the steel plate are arranged on the same line vertical to the weld line, and a distance W (mm) between each of the wire tip positions and the weld line is 5 to 20 mm.
