    摘要： In an aspect, a character figure (10) is provided, and includes a body (12), a hair holder (14) and a clump of hair (30). The hair holder (14) is mounted to the body (12) and encloses an interior volume (16) therewith. The hair holder (14) at least in part defines hair pass-through apertures (28) including at least first and second hair pass-through apertures (28a, 28b). The clump of hair (30) has a central region (30c) with a knot (32) that is positioned in the interior volume (16). The clump of hair (30) further includes a first and second end portions (30e1, 30e2) extending from the central region (30c). The first end portion (30e1) passes through the first hair pass-through aperture (28a) to an exterior of the character figure (10). The second end portion (30e2) passes through the second hair pass-through aperture (28b) to the exterior of the character figure (10). The knot (32) is unable to pass-through any of the hair pass-through apertures (28a, 28b) that hair from the clump of hair (30) passes through.

    摘要： Hair strands or hair tufts (7) are stitched in loop form on a flat, flexible base (2), for example a textile base, in a region bounded by a desired hairpiece contour (1). The stitched region is then removed from the base (2), by being cut out or stamped out, along the periphery (4) of a border (3) which encloses the hair piece contour (1). Finally, the resulting flexible hairpiece is slipped over onto part of a toy figure, and possibly adhesively bonded thereon, and the hair strands or hair tufts are cut to length and combed. The method makes it possible, in a simple and cost-effective manner, to provide toy figures of any size, even those made of a hard material, with hairpieces of any appearance.
