    摘要: To improve he traffic flow, a control method is proposed for a traffic regulator (70a, 70b), such as for example a traffic light, located at an intersection between two transit routes (10, 20, 30, 40) as for example a road crossing, the traffic regulator being able to emit a signal of transit consent or prohibition.
    The method has the steps of
    (i) modifying the count of a time-counter according to a signal indicating the presence of a vehicle in an area of the intersection,
    (ii) switching the signals of transit consent or prohibition for the first and/or second route when the time T measured by the time-counter is greater than a threshold value Ts.
