摘要: A data processing system is disclosed including a decoder circuit, syndrome calculation circuit and hash calculation circuit. The decoder circuit is operable to apply a decoding algorithm to a decoder input based on a first portion of a composite matrix to yield a codeword. The syndrome calculation circuit is operable to calculate a syndrome based on the codeword and on the first portion of the composite matrix. The hash calculation circuit is operable to calculate a hash based on a second portion of the composite matrix. The decoder circuit is also operable to correct the codeword on the hash when the syndrome indicates that the codeword based on the first portion of the composite matrix is correct but a second test indicates that the codeword is miscorrected.

An exemplary system comprises a plurality of caching devices operable to cache resources on behalf of a plurality of content providers, and a local caching device communicatively situated between an access network and the client device, wherein the access network is communicably situated between the plurality of caching devices and the local caching device. The local caching device is operable to retrieve a requested resource from at least one of the plurality of caching devices, deliver the requested resource to the client device over the local network, and store the requested resource for future requests by other client devices.

摘要: A sensing system and method for detecting a position and/or velocity of keys on a keyboard. The keyboard is provided with a set of sensors, each sensor comprising a passive resonant circuit for mounting on a moving part of a key and an active resonant circuit for mounting in a reference position. One or more coils of the active resonant circuits have windings in opposite senses to reduce interference between sensors of adjacent keys. The passive resonant circuit has a resonant frequency and the active resonant circuit excites the passive resonant circuit at the resonant frequency. Each sensor has a detector to detect variations of a resonant signal in the active resonant circuit with relative position of the active and passive resonant circuits to detect a position and/or velocity of the key.

摘要: A sensing system and method for periodically compensating a response of a keyboard. Each key of the keyboard is provided with a key sensor, with each key sensor comprising a passive resonant circuit, an active resonant circuit and a detector. A detected initial output signal, O t0 , of an initial key sensor, K 0 , is retrieved from storage. The detected initial output signal O t0 corresponds to an output signal of the initial key sensor K 0 detected at a first time, t 0 at which an active resonant circuit of the initial key sensor K 0 is driven at a frequency below a resonant frequency of the active resonant circuit of the initial key sensor K 0 . Periodically thereafter, a later output signal, O t1 , is detected, and an adjustment value is calculated. The adjustment value corresponds to a difference between the initial output signal O t0 and the later output signal O t1 . The response of the keyboard may then be compensated using the adjustment value.
