According to the concept of the invention, for optimum operation within the framework of comprehensive thermal management it is provided that the thermostat, the radiator fan, the high-temperature pump and the low-temperature pump are controlled as actuators of a control system. The invention leads to a corresponding control system, a computer program product and an engine supercharging system.
