The aim of the invention is to improve the device of the aforementioned kind in such a manner as to increase the evenness with which the tissue is treated. The invention relates to cryosurgical instrument for obtaining a tissue sample using a probe, wherein the probe comprises a probe head for freezing tissues, a probe shaft for advancing the probe head to the tissue, a feeding device for feeding a fluid into an expansion chamber and a conducting device. The conducting device is connected to the expansion chamber for delivering the expanded fluid out of the expansion chamber. The expansion of the fluid in the expansion chamber chills the probe head such that the tissue freezes to the probe head. Such surgical instruments can also be used according to the invention in thin hollow organs, such as gall bladder or pancreatic ducts, in order to obtain tissue samples. In said area of application, however, certain requirements are placed on the dimensions of the probe that could not be met by conventional probes. The present invention solves said problem in that the delivery device comprises at least one opening at the distal region of the probe, said opening conducting the fluid into an external region outside of the probe. According to the invention, a part of the expanding gas is thereby discharged directly into the hollow organ.

The invention relates to tubular shaft instruments, which are provided with a handle, a tubular shaft and a tool head. The tool head usually has two mouth parts, which can be displaced in relation to one another for gripping and fixing tissue. The disadvantages of the articulations used for this purpose are that they block access to the mouth parts from the inside of the tubular shaft to the outside, that they are not sufficiently stable and can only be operated with low leverage. The invention thus discloses a slotted guide system for forming the articulation, said system having a virtual fulcrum outside the tubular shaft instrument. The invention not only eradicates the aforementioned problems but also simplifies the seizure of tissue.

The HF surgery device comprises at least two HF generators and at least one neutral electrode output for a neutral electrode. At least two outputs for connecting HF surgical instruments are provided for exposing the surgical instruments to treatment currents. A changeover device is also provided. In order to enable the simultaneous operation of a plurality of HF surgical device, and to thereby generate no neuromuscular stimulation, the invention proposes that a separate generator is provided for each HF surgical instrument, and that a single neutral electrode arrangement is provided for all instruments and generators. The changeover device has a control connection to the HF generators, such that the HF generators never generate the treatment currents and output the currents to the instruments simultaneously (exclusively consecutively).
