The provision of the slits prevents generation of eddy current in each electro-conductive pattern which otherwise would interfere with the performance of the antenna.

This can occur after a data exchange between the transmitter/receiver unit and the data carrier. According to the invention, two or more sensors (2a, 2b, 2c) initiate various user functions according to the time pattern of the impingement thereof. It is, however, also possible that one sensor (2a) can be directly disconnected or disconnected with an adjustable delay after impingement of the other sensor (2b, 2c). The sensors (2a, 2b, 2c, 2d) can also be used as individual sensors having defined user functions.

The invention relates to a door-locking system for a motor vehicle, comprising a locking element (6) that can be actuated in an opening or locking manner via an actuator (4), and a control unit (2) for triggering the actuator (4). According to the invention, a position monitoring means (8) is assigned to at least one locking element (6) in order to detect the locked position. Additionally, each position monitoring means (8) is effectively connected to a control means that verifies whether a proper locked state has been reached so as to be able to compare the setpoint state and the actual state of the locking element (6) such that a feedback signal (R2) can be generated when the states do not correspond. This makes it possible to verify in a simple manner whether all doors and gates of a vehicle are properly locked after performing a locking process.

A metallic thin film is deposited on a surface of an outer cover (9) that receives an antenna of the internal antenna device by sputtering. Cr (chromium) may be selected for the sputtering target, and the film thickness may be in the range of 0.05 µm to 0.20 µm to produce the appearance of a metallic surface. A double layer structure may be used by forming a coating consisting of acrylic urethane paint and having a thickness of 5 µm to 50 µm on the metallic film (16) to protect the metallic film (16) on the surface of the outer cover (9).

When said actuating zone is contacted, the main sensor and the auxiliary sensor (40, 50) emit separate signals which however are evaluated in the same way (42). When the result of the evaluation is positive, an output signal is emitted, said signal shifting the lock to its locking position. The actuating of the handle (20) is then ineffective.

The inventive system comprises: a handle (1) which is mounted on the door; and a presence sensing device comprising a control module, a sensing electrode (7) and a reference electrode (6), each of said electrodes being connected to the control module and being disposed, at least in part, at the handle. The inventive system can be used to connect the aforementioned electrodes electromagnetically to one another in order to define a user presence detection zone. The detection of the user in said zone enables at least one given vehicle function to be controlled. According to the invention, the system also comprises means of creating at least one user presence non-detection zone (10) through the local modification of the presence detection zone.
