    摘要: A locking device of an air-operated normally-closed valve for a gas cylinder (10) includes a housing (21); a piston assembly (30) provided in the housing (21); a tapered axial member (32) having an annular outer tapered surface and positioned coaxially with the piston assembly axis; a lock nut (25) which is screw-engaged with the housing (21) and coaxial with the tapered axial member (32); an annular inner tapered surface formed on an inner peripheral surface of the lock nut (25) to correspond to the annular outer tapered surface; an intermediate cylinder member (21 h) positioned between the annular outer and inner tapered surfaces; and a lock piece (27) inserted into a radial through hole (26) and contacting the annular outer and inner tapered surfaces. The lock nut (25) can press the lock piece (27) against the annular outer tapered surface via the annular inner tapered surface to lock the piston assembly (30) by adjusting the lock nut (25) with respect to the housing (21).

    摘要: The present invention provides a sealing arrangement between a flow regulator (110) and a shut-off valve (102) attached to an oxygen cylinder (100). The shut-off valve includes a casing (104) which is adapted to be mounted to an oxygen cylinder containing oxygen gas or an oxygen enhanced gas, a side wall (106) defining a part of the casing. A female outlet port is defined in the side wall of the casing. The flow regulator includes a metallic cylindrical body (112) which has first (112a) and second (112b) end faces. A yoke (116) extends from the first end face of the cylindrical body. A screw bolt (120), which has an end (120a) facing the first end face of the cylindrical body, operates with the yoke to clamp the casing of the shut-off valve between the first end face of the cylindrical body and the end of the screw bolt. A male inlet port (114) extends from the first end face of the cylindrical body into the female outlet port of the shut-off valve to receive the oxygen gas or the oxygen enhanced gas. An o-ring (122) is provided around the inlet port of the flow regulator so that the o-ring is clamped between the first end face of the cylindrical body of the flow regulator and the casing of the shut-off valve when the flow regulator is secured to the shut-off valve. The sealing member is made of an electrically conductive rubber material.

    摘要: An outboard marine engine has vapor vent control apparatus including a fuel inlet in fluid communication with a fuel reservoir of the engine. The fuel inlet is operably attachable to a fuel pin of a fuel connector. When attached, liquid fuel flows to the fuel reservoir and when detached, liquid fuel flow out of the fuel inlet is prevented. A vapor vent passage is configured in fluid communication with the liquid fuel reservoir and an air intake of the engine. A vent pin is disposed in the vapor vent passage. The vent pin moves between a first position upon attaching the fuel connector to the fuel inlet and a second position upon detaching the fuel connector from the fuel inlet. In the first position, the vapor vent passage is open to fuel vapor flow and, when in the second position, the vapor vent passage is closed to fuel vapor flow.
