Abstract:
The present invention relates to a tank (1) intended for reversible storing of hydrogen, comprising: - a plurality of cylindrically shaped casings (3) each containing hydrides and each able to be filled or emptied by the hydrogen H2 being respectively absorbed or desorbed by the hydrides, - a solid part (2) made from thermally insulating material and having a low heat capacity being penetrated, within, by a plurality of cylindrically-shaped slots (20), the diameter of each of which is greater than that of a casing, tank in which said casing is housed individually in a slot leaving an annular volume (V) free between same in such a way that the latter can be traversed by a heat transfer fluid, following a defined circuit in each annular volume from an inlet common to all the annular volumes to an outlet which is also common.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a generator for an electronic valve for a storage vessel containing a compressible fluid (e.g., a gas cylinder). The generator is configured to generate electricity from the vibration of the storage vessel. The vibration of the storage vessel causes a mechanical motion that is converted into electricity. A fluid storage assembly for storing fluid comprises: a fluid storage vessel (10, 110); an electronic valve assembly (20, 120) for controlling the flow of fluid from the fluid storage vessel (10, 110); and a generator (50, 60, 150) for generating electricity, the generator arranged to provide electrical power to the electronic valve assembly (20, 120), wherein the generator (50, 60, 150) is arranged to generate electricity from reciprocal motion of the fluid storage assembly.
Abstract:
A high-pressure container has a body part (20), and a cap (22) inserted in the body part (20), and the body part (20) has a cylindrical liner (24), and a reinforcement layer (26) provided on an outer circumferential surface of the liner (24) for reinforcing the liner (24). The cap (22) has a contact portion (28) that contacts with an inner circumferential surface of the liner (24), a through-hole (90) that communicates the inside of the body part (20) with the outside, and a projecting portion (60, 30) that is pressed outward in radial directions of the body part (20), and bites into the reinforcement layer (26), so as to inhibit the cap (22) from moving in the axial direction.
Abstract:
A novel tank cryogenic-compatible composite pressure vessel that beneficially utilizes Vapor Cooled Shielding (VCS) is introduced to minimize thermal gradients along support structures and reduces heat loads on cryogenic systems. In particular, the configurations and mechanisms to be utilized herein include: providing for a desired number of passageways and a given thickness of the VCS, reducing the thermal conductivity of the VCS material, and increasing the cooling capacitance of the hydrogen vapors.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a cylinder holder (10) for a cylinder (20) for pressurized storage of therapeutic oxygen, the cylinder holder (10) comprising a receptacle (11) arranged to hold the cylinder (20) in a holding position, characterized in that the cylinder holder (10) comprises at one or more than one cylinder switch (12) adapted to be actuated by the cylinder (20) when received in the receptacle (11) in the holding position. A corresponding supply system (100) for therapeutic oxygen and a corresponding supply method are also part of the present invention.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a tank for storing hydrogen by absorption into a hydrogen-storage material (M), said tank comprising: - a chamber, - a hydrogen feed inlet, -a hydrogen discharge outlet, - an inner structure (S1) for storing hydrogen-storage material, said inner structure comprising a stack along a longitudinal axis (X) of at least two levels for containing storage material (M), each level comprising a distributor cup (12), a receiver cup (14) for the storage material and a collector cup (16), the distributor cups (12), receiver cups (14) and collector cups (16) being stacked one on top of the other and rigidly and sealingly connected to one another. The invention also relates to a distribution pipe (22) parallel to the hydrogen in the distributor cups (12) such that, for each level, hydrogen flows from each distributor cup (12) to the collector cup (16) by passing through the storage material (M).
