The present invention aims to provide an intermediate film for laminated glass which, in the case of being used for constituting a laminated glass, enables to improve the sound-insulating property in a high frequency range of the obtained laminated glass over a wide range of temperature. The intermediate film for laminated glass of the present invention1 has a structure that a first layer 2, a second layer 3, and a third layer 4 are laminated in this order, each of the first, second, and third layers 2, 3, and 4 contains a polyvinyl acetal resin and a plasticizer, the hydroxy group content in the polyvinyl acetal resin contained in the first layer 2 is lower than each of the hydroxy group contents in the polyvinyl acetal resins contained in the second and third layers 3 and 4, and the ratio (T1/(T2+T3)) of the thickness (T1) of the first layer 2 to the total thickness (T2+T3) of the second and third layers 3 and 4 is 0.14 or lower.

The interlayer film for laminated glass according to the present invention has an MD direction and a TD direction, and the dimension in the MD direction of the interlayer film after storage is 1.05X or more when an interlayer film with a dimension in the MD direction of X is heated for 10 minutes at 110°C, the heated interlayer film is extended so that the dimension in the MD direction becomes 1.2X, the interlayer film in the extended state is fixed by a fixture, the fixed interlayer film is immersed for 1 minute in water at 0°C, the interlayer film is taken out of water at 0°C, the fixture is removed from the interlayer film, the interlayer film from which the fixture is removed is stored for 10 hours at a temperature of 23°C and a humidity of 30%RH, and the interlayer film after storage is measured for the dimension in the MD direction.

The hydroxyl content of the polyvinyl acetal resin in the first layer 2 is lower than the hydroxyl content of the polyvinyl acetal resin in the second layer 3. The difference between the hydroxyl content of the polyvinyl acetal resin in the first layer 2 and the hydroxyl content of the polyvinyl acetal resin in the second layer 3 is at most 9.2 mol%. If the difference in the content is higher than 8.5 mol% and at most 9.2 mol%, a degree of acetylation of the polyvinyl acetal resin of the polyvinyl acetal resin in the first layer is at most 8 mol%.
