Provided is a powdery hydrophilic polymer by aggregating a hydrophilic polymer comprising a water-in-oil emulsion in a liquid form by emulsion breaking and granulating the aggregate, followed by drying. As an emulsion breaker, ionic surfactants, nonionic surfactants having an HLB value of 11 to 20, or oil-soluble polymer compounds having a hydrophilic group and a hydrophobic group can be used. The powdery hydrophilic polymer obtained by this method exhibits excellent effects as a flocculating agent.

Provided are a resin blend for a melting process, a method of preparing the same and a resin article having a certain layer separated structure. The resin blend may include a first resin, and a second resin that comprises a resin to which an organic functional group containing one oxygen atom or more is introduced, and that has a difference in melt viscosity from the first resin of 0.1 to 3000 pa*s at a shear rate of 100 to 1000 s -1 and a processing temperature of the resin blend. The resin blend can improve mechanical and surface characteristics of a resin article. Further, since coating or plating is not required for manufacturing a resin article, a manufacturing time and/or cost can be reduced, and productivity can be increased.

A process for forming shaped three-dimensional products (50) is described made from a composition containing at least one filler and an aromatic liquid crystal polymer. In one embodiment, the process includes forming a substrate such as a film, a sheet or a tube, through an extrusion process. Once the substrate is formed, the substrate is then heated and fed to a shaping process. The shaping process may comprise a thermal forming process or a blow molding process. In order to form the three-dimensional products, the aromatic liquid crystal polymer has a high heat of crystallization, a high melt temperature and/or a high melt viscosity.
