摘要: Provided is an advertisement apparatus using a light switching device which transmits or shields light according as a power source or heat is supplied or not. The advertisement apparatus includes a light switching device transmitting light when a power source or heat is supplied thereto and shielding light of less than predetermined brightness when a power source or heat is not supplied thereto, or operating in a reverse manner, and an illuminator for illuminating an image onto the light switching device with light whose brightness is greater than the predetermined brightness. The light switching device can be used as the window of a building, and can present images of an advertisement using the illuminator for irradiating light from a projector, for example, to the light switching device. Therefore, the advertisement apparatus using a light switching device can be used for both indoor and outdoor advertising displays.

摘要: An interactive display system is provided including a support frame (600) having vertical positioning element that counterbalances the weight of an attached interactive display (201), for example a touch-sensitive display. The support frame (600) optionally includes a power supply increasing the range of mobility of the interactive display system by eliminating the need for power cord and power outlet connections. One exemplary support frame for an interactive display (201) includes a base element, at least one support extending vertically (603) from the base element, and a positioning element housed within the at least one support. The positioning element counterbalances the weight of the interactive display allowing vertical repositioning of the interactive display with a force of less than about 25 pounds.

摘要: A video image rotating apparatus (10) includes a rear projection screen (16) rotatably disposed in a generally horizontal plane, thus allowing only a single mirror (18) to be angularly positioned over the screen to project video images to viewers. An optical system (14) is positioned below the screen and vertically aligned therewith for projecting video images onto the screen.(16) Preferably, the video images are mechanically rotated by rotating a portion of the optical system at a rate of rotation that is one-half that of the screen so that all viewers surrounding the video image rotating apparatus will see the same picture substantially simultaneously and continuously. Alternatively, the video images produced by the optical system may be rotated by an electronic image rotation system that electronically rotates the images produced in synchronization with rotation of the screen (16).

摘要: The invention relates to a method for controlling devices, machines and/or vehicles. The method involves the following steps: projecting a virtual operating element, which is assigned to a specified function, inside the area of activity of an operator; detecting, without contact, a movement of the operator toward the virtual operating element, and; switching the function assigned to the virtual operating element once the movement of the operator is identified as an intention to perform a switching operation.

摘要: A method and system for displaying free-space, full color, high-resolution video or still images while simultaneously enabling the user to have real-time direct interaction with the visual images. The system comprises a self-generating means for creating a dynamic, non-solid particle cloud by ejecting atomized condensate present in the surrounding air, in a controlled fashion, into an invisible particle cloud. A projection system consisting of an image generating means and projection optics, projects an image onto the particle cloud. Any physical intrusion, occurring spatially within the image region, is captured by a detection system and the intrusion information is used to enable real-time user interaction in updating the image. This input/output (I/O) interface provides a display and computer link, permitting the user to select, translate and manipulate free-space floating visual information beyond the physical constraints of the device creating the image.

摘要: The invention relates to an image projection device that is able to float and to fly and that comprises at least one float, projector (2) and projection surface (3). The shape and volume of the float (1) are chosen such that the lift generated by it allows for a stable position of the projector and the projection surface that are spaced apart depending on the projection distance, the projector (2) is disposed substantially outside a first peripheral surface of the float, the projection surface (3) substantially coincides with a second peripheral surface opposite the first peripheral surface and is substantially plane when used, and that the float, between projector and projection surface (3) has a lift-free zone which does not substantially impair the beam path in the space between the projector and the projection surface (3). In another embodiment, the volume of the float is chosen such that the lift generated by it allows for a stable position of the projector and the projection surface that are spaced apart depending on the projection distance, the projector is disposed substantially outside a first peripheral surface of the float, the projection surface (3) is substantially plane when used, the projection surface is disposed in the area of a second peripheral surface that is substantially opposite the first peripheral surface of the float, and that the projection surface is fastened in the float as a separate element.
