Abstract: A method and apparatus for transmitting and receiving a data transport block, herein the method includes: determining (S102) cells of a first type supporting transmission of scheduling allocation signaling and cells of a second type supporting only data transmission; transmitting (S104) scheduling allocation signaling of a first type and one or more scheduling allocation signaling of a second type on the cells of the first type, herein the scheduling allocation signaling of the first type is used for indicating that the same data transport block is transmitted over a plurality of transmission time intervals included within a predetermined time, and the scheduling allocation signaling of the second type transmitted over a predetermined transmission time interval within the predetermined time is used for indicating that the data transport block is transmitted over the predetermined transmission time interval; and transmitting the data transport block on the cells of the second type according to the scheduling allocation signaling of the first type, and transmitting the data transport block on the cells of the first type and/or the cells of the second type according to the scheduling allocation signaling of the second type (S106), which solve the problem in the related art that the resource utilization rate is not high and the transmission efficiency of the data block is low, thereby improving the efficiency of data transmission and resource utilization rate.

Abstract: A variety of wireless communication methods and apparatus for supporting reconfiguration of radio link control (RLC) parameters are disclosed. A radio resource control (RRC) reconfiguration message is generated that indicates that an RLC unit in a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) or a universal terrestrial radio access network (UTRAN) should be reconfigured from supporting flexible size RLC protocol data units (PDUs) to supporting fixed size RLC PDUs. If an information element (IE) “one sided RLC re-establishment” is present in the RRC reconfiguration message, only a receiving side subassembly in the RLC unit is re-established. Otherwise, both the receiving side subassembly and a transmitting side subassembly in the RLC unit are re-established. Flexible size RLC PDUs may be discarded and a message indicating the discarded flexible size RLC PDUs may be transmitted. The flexible size RLC PDUs may be modified such that they correspond to a set of pre-defined sizes.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices are described for adapting blind reception duration for range and congestion. A wireless station may measure channel conditions (e.g., range to an access point (AP) and channel congestion), and adjust one or more sleep timers based on the conditions. The sleep timers may each be associated with a window for reception of an expected transmission. If the transmission is not received in the window, the station may enter a sleep state to conserve power. In one example, a beacon miss timer is adjusted, and the expected wireless transmission is a delivery traffic indication message (DTIM). In another example, a content after beacon (CAB) timer is adjusted and the expected wireless transmission is the CAB. In some cases, the station may measure a delay for a number of beacons and determine the adjustment based on the delays.

Abstract: This application discloses a scheduling resource configuration method and apparatus, user equipment, and a base station, so as to obtain, from a location such as a core network or a user terminal, related data, including a data packet size, a packet interval, historical data, or the like, of a service that is currently executed by the user terminal, and further generate and configure scheduling configuration information such as SPS scheduling configuration information based on the data. The base station and the user terminal both run, based on the generated scheduling configuration information, the service that is currently executed by the user equipment. In addition, the base station or the user equipment may further select scheduling configuration information from a plurality of pieces of scheduling configuration information depending on a requirement. This implements dynamic configuration of a scheduling resource such as an SPS resource, effectively saves resources, such as PDCCH resources, used for a scheduling indication in a system, and can also ensure, to fullest extent, data transmission quality of some services whose data packet sizes, periods, or the like change.

Abstract: Embodiments herein describe apparatuses, systems, and methods for signaling to support downlink coordinated multipoint (CoMP) communications with a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication network. In embodiments, the UE may be configured with a plurality of channel state information (CSI) processes (e.g., via radio resource control (RRC) signaling) to use for providing CSI feedback to an evolved Node B (eNB) to support downlink CoMP communications. The UE may be configured with a plurality of sets of CSI processes. The UE may further receive a downlink control information (DCI) message from the eNB that indicates one of the configured sets of CSI processes on which the UE is to provide CSI feedback to the UE. The UE may generate the CSI feedback for the indicated set of CSI processes, and transmit the CSI feedback to the eNB in a CSI report.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and a communications system for switching a transmission time interval, user equipment, and an evolved NodeB. User equipment UE calculates a TTI switching characteristic parameter, and the UE sends a TTI switching request message if the TTI switching characteristic parameter meets a switching condition; an evolved NodeB eNB sends, to the UE, a TTI switching indication message that includes indication information of a second TTI; and the UE performs transmission by using the second TTI. By using the method for switching a TTI, the UE, and the eNB that are provided in the embodiments of the present invention, a TTI used for transmission can be adjusted in time according to a channel quality change of the UE, thereby remarkably shortening a service delay.
