A method of controlling waste water treatment by anaerobic fermentation comprises continuously sampling and measuring, preferably colorimetrically, the enzyme activity or adenosine triphosphate concentration which indicates the activity of the microorganisms, in the water treated by anaerobic fermentation treatment, for example, methane fermentation, and controlling various fermentation conditions as occasion demands on the basis of the result of the measurement. Apparatus for controlling waste water treatment by anaerobic fermentation comprises a device that continuously measures the enzyme activity or ATP concentration in the water treated in an anaerobic fermentation tank, for example, a methane fermentation tank. This apparatus includes a supply pipe (1), pH control tank (2) with acid and alkaline supplies (8,9), fermentation tank (3) and a measurement tank (10) taking samples from said tank (3) and sensors (55,56) therein. By early prediction that the condition in the reactor is proceeding to an abnormal state it is possible to carry out earlier the control of various fermentation conditions, so that even if an abnormality begins to occur in the fermentation conditions of the waste water treated in the fermentation tank, the fermentation conditions can be easily and rapidly returned to normal. By measuring an active condition of microorganisms or the ATP concentration in the reactor and feeding back the result of the measurement to control various fermentation conditions, the waste water treatment in the anaerobic fermentation tank can be controlled to and maintained in optimal conditions speedily, easily and precisely, so that highly efficient fermentation treatment can be maintained for a long period.

A fragrant-material supplying means supplies fragrant material to a mist-generating means to generate mist either by blowing air or by vibration produced by an ultrasonic-oscillating means. The mist is blown to a surface portion formed at the end of a fragrant-air separating means which separates evaporated fragrant air from mist. The fragrant air is then introduced into holes formed in a fragrant-air discharging means, in which the place of holes are offset from the surface portion toward the downstream of the fragrant air. The fragrant air is then blown into a distributing passage from the fragrant-air discharging means to mix the fragrant air with conditioning-air supplied by an air-supplying means. This makes fragrance-mixed air for distributing to a predetermined space or rooms for the physical and mental activation of the human body.

The present invention provides a finishing machine (PT) of concrete surface (F) comprising a body (10) which supports a plurality of rotatable trowels (20) with a plurality of trowel blades (21) through radial support members so that the trowels (20) can revolve around the central axis (11) of the body (10), the body (10) being equipped further with a driving means (30) of the rotatable trowels (20), a power generator and a traveling means (17) of the finishing machine (PT) which is placed just below the central axis (11), wherein the driving means (30) of the rotatable trowels (20) is a gasoline engine (30), and wherein each rotatable trowel (20) is driven by a transmission shaft (33) branched off from a gearbox (31) and the angle between the surface of revolution of each rotatable trowel (20) and the concrete surface (F) is minutely changeable by using a means for angle adjustment (24). In view of improving the performance of the finishing work by the finishing machine of concrete surface (F) as much as possible and adapting the finishing machine (PT) to the nature and state of concrete to be treated, detailed construction of various elements of the finishing machine (PT) is also disclosed. The finishing machine (PT) of concrete surface (F) according to the present invention was accomplished for the purpose of solving the problems of the electric finishing machine in the prior art by replacing its electric motor with a gasoline engine (30).
