    摘要: The method including the steps of separating pulverized coal mixture gas (2) ejected from a vertical type coal grinder containing a rotary type classifier (1) therein into thick mixture gas (4) and thin mixture gas (5) by means of a distributor (3), and injecting these thick and thin mixture gases respectively through separate burner injecting ports (6,7) into a same furnace (8) to make them burn, is improved so as to reduce both an unburnt fuel content in ash and a nitrogen oxide concentration in exhaust gas while maintaining excellent ignition characteristic. The improvements reside in that an air-to-fuel ratio of the thick mixture gas is chosen at 1 - 2, while an air-to-fuel ratio of the thin mixture gas is chosen at 3 - 6, and the range of a degree of pulverization of the pulverized coal is regulated at 100 mesh residue 1.5% or less. The degree of pulverization of the pulverized coal fed to ihe distributor is regulated either by adjusting a rotational speed of the rotary type classifier (65) or by adjusting the angles formed between classifying vanes (75) rotating about the axis of the rotary type classifier and the direction of rotation.

    摘要: A method for preparing hog fuel, other biomass, or peat for efficient burning and heat recovery in a water-wall boiler (20). The process requires drying the fuel to less than a 30% moisture content. The fuel is then pulverized to an upper particle size such that there are substantially no particles which will not burn in air suspension within the confines of the combustion zone (21). Additionally, the pulverizing step is adjusted such that a fines portion of fuel is created of such size and in such amount that the fines portion readily ignites upon flame initiation. The fines provide sufficient ignition energy so that the entire flow of fuel burns without the necessity of the conventional fossil fuel support or pilot. The fuel is sized to burn in air suspension by injection into the boiler (20) through a swirl stabilized-type burner (18). For one burner, not particularly optimized for burning wood, a suitable particle size range was found to comprise 65-100% less than 1000 microns and 15-85% less than 150 microns. Pulverizing is carried out preferably at low air flows so that the resulting air and pulverized fuel mixture of about 1-2 kilograms air per kilogram fuel may be directly injected by the swirl stabilized air suspension type burner into the furnace along with secondary air (19). Combustion in the furnace requires no supplemental or pilot fuel to maintain stability. The process has good load following characteristics having at least a 2.5:1 turndown ratio.

Le solde du combustible alimentant (32) le brûleur peut avoir une granulométrie beaucoup plus grande, qui peut s'élever à 10 mm ou même plus en dimension maximum, lorsqu'on utilise une chaudière équipée d'une grille. Si la chaudière n'est pas équipée d'une grille, le composant combustible principal ne doit pas excéder environ 1 mm d'épaisseur et 4 mm dans les deux autres dimensions, si l'on veut éviter le transvasage. On a découvert que la quantité totale du composant combustible d'allumage doit être maintenue constante, indépendamment de la charge du brûleur, ce qui constitue un aspect clef de la présente invention.

    摘要: Three terminal current source (10) including a current turn around circuit comprising first (12) and second (14) transistors. The emitters of the pair of transistors are coupled to a common terminal (20) with the collector of the first one of the pair of the transistors being coupled to an input terminal at which is supplied a reference current (25) with the collector of the other one of the pair of transistors being coupled in cascode through the emitter collector path of an output transistor (24) to the output terminal (34) of the current source circuit. The base electrodes of the pair of transistors are directly connected to each other with the control electrode of the output transistor being connected to the collector of the first one of the pair of transistors of the current turn around circuit. A single lateral split collector transistor (26) is utilized to improve the current match between the input and output of the current source wherein the emitter of this transistor is connected to the base electrodes of the pair of transistors of the current source with one collector and the base of the split collector transistor being connected to the collector of the second one of the pair of transistors. The other one of the collectors of the split collector transistor is connected directly to the output terminal of the current source. The aforedescribed structure provides a current source having improved matching characteristics over a temperature range which varies from -40 C to +125 C.
