摘要:

An acoustic glass breakage detector including a pulsating current-powered microphone and operable for generating pulsed signal data corresponding to sound waves detected thereby, a sample and hold circuit operable for converting the pulsed signal data into a voltage level signal and storing the voltage level signal, a sound frequency band pass amplifier operable for ascertaining whether the voltage level signal corresponds to an explosion-like sound typical of an initial glass-breakage sound, a flex wave band pass amplifier operable for ascertaining whether the voltage level signal corresponds to a flex wave typical of an initial glass-breakage sound, and circuitry operable, responsive to ascertaining that the voltage level signal corresponds to an explosion-like sound typical of an initial glass-breakage event and that the voltage level signal corresponds to a flex wave typical of an initial glass-breakage sound, for ascertaining that the pulsed signal data is indicative of a glass-breakage event.

In various embodiments, a hazard detector is presented. The hazard detector may include a hazard detection sensor that detects a presence of a type of hazard. The hazard detector may include a light and a light sensor that senses a brightness level in an ambient environment of the hazard detector. The hazard detector may include a processing system configured to receive an indication of the brightness level in the ambient environment of the hazard detector from the light sensor. The processing system may determine the brightness level in the ambient environment of the hazard detector has reached a threshold value. A status check of one or more components of the hazard detector may be performed. The processing system may cause the light to illuminate using a selected illumination state in response to the determining the brightness level in the ambient environment of the hazard detector has reached the threshold value.

A method for automatically orienting passive motion detection sensors in a given area, the method including capturing an image of at least a first portion of the given area, and responsive to capturing of an image of the first portion of the given area, superimposing, onto the image, a multiplicity of virtual passive sensor sensitivity beams virtually originating from at least one passive motion detection sensor, the at least one passive motion detection sensor being operable for passively detecting motion in at least a second portion of the given area, the sensitivity beams demarcating the second portion of the given area, thereby enabling ascertaining a measure of overlap between the first and second portions of the given area.

A shock sensor (1) for detecting an attack on a facility equipped with the shock sensor (1), comprising: a microprocessor (3); a micro electromechanical system (2) in communication with the microprocessor (3), the micro electromechanical system (2) being integrated with a shock sensing device adapted to sense a shock generated by the attack in any direction and a microchip adapted to receive and store at least one parameter from the microprocessor (3) and to analyze a shock signal generated by the shock based on the at least one parameter; and an output device (4) connected with the microprocessor (3) and adapted to output information based on an analysis result of the shock signal. The shock sensor (1) can detect reliably any attack and has a simple circuit arrangement.

To provide a sighting device for use in a security sensor system, in which device enables an operator, assigned to conduct a sighting work, to look into the sighting device from a proper direction. The sighting device includes an eyepiece lens provided with a microlens, an objective lens provided with a first marker encompassed within the field of view of the eyepiece lens, and a reflecting mirror disposed on an optical path between the eyepiece lens and the objective lens. The first marker is comprised of a circular contour line or a polygonal contour line and is so set that when a viewing axis offsets from a tolerance, the first marker is viewed with a part thereof dropped out having been offset from the field of view of the microlens.
