The rotor core further has at least two channels (30) in an outer surface thereof such that the channels, along with an interior wall of the rotor housing, define two sample spaces into which sample is delivered while the rotor is in operation.

摘要： An apparatus and method for collecting whole blood and then separating it into components for subsequent use or storage are described. A self-contained bag set (10) is used to collect the sample, which may then be placed into container adapted to fit into a centrifuge for separation of components. Each component is then sequentially extracted according to density, with a sensor present in the container to control the operation of valves (20) directing the collection of each component. Each component may then be separated into its own storage container (4) .

摘要： The invention relates to an inset for a centrifuge rotor. The inset preferably consists of an inner tube (48) and an outer tube (50). Said inset can be perfectly fitted into the appurtenant centrifuge rotor by means of said tubes in such a way that the fluid is forced to flow through between separator surfaces (52) that are configured in a bent manner and are situated between the outer tube and the inner tube. Said surfaces result in an optimum separation of the particles by virtue of the bend thereof, said particles being in the fluid. Such an inset can especially be used in free jet centrifuges for cleaning lubricating oil of an internal combustion engine.

摘要： Provided is a continuous centrifugation machine that facilitates gradual switching of the capacity of centrifugation spaces, by the size of attached fins. A rotor for the continuous centrifugation machine comprises: a substantially cylindrical core main body 31 having a groove 37 for the attachment of a plurality of fins, that continues in the axial direction on the outer peripheral surface; a plurality of fins 40 that are attached so as to protrude to the outside in the radial direction, from the outer peripheral surface of the core main body 31; and a cylindrical rotor body 11. A plurality of attached fins (40, 50) are provided that have sections, protruding further to the outside in the radial direction than the outer peripheral surface of the core main body, that have differing widths in the circumferential direction. The present invention is configured such that the capacity of the centrifugation spaces S1-S6 can be changed by an operator selecting one of the plurality of fins 40,50 and attaching the selected fin to the core main body 31.
