摘要: The present invention aims at supplying a fiber-processing agent that can suppress scum accumulation in whirling air spinning to a large extent and thereby assure good high-speed spinning performance. The present invention uses a fiber-processing agent for whirling air spinning having a kinetic viscosity at 30°C of 1 x 10 -6 to 100 x 10 -6 m 2 /s; wherein the fiber-processing agent comprises one, two or more of the following lubricant (A), the following lubricant (B) and the following lubricant (C); wherein: Lubricant (A) is an aliphatic ester compound of carbon number 5-70; Lubricant (B) is a linear polyorganosiloxane, having a kinetic viscosity at 30°C of 5 x 10 -6 to 100 x 10 -6 m 2 /s; and Lubricant (C) is a mineral oil, having a kinetic viscosity at 30°C of 5 x 10 -6 to 100 x 10 -6 m 2 /s.

摘要: An engine lubricant, especially an SAE OW engine lubricant is described. The engine lubricant has at least 15 wt % of at least one monoester and not more than 15 wt % of additives, wherein said at least one monoester, or mixture of said monoesters if more than one is present, has a kinematic viscosity at 100° C. of not more than 3.3, a viscosity index of at least 130 and a Noack evaporation loss of not more than 15 wt %. The monoester is preferably the reaction product of a monohydric alcohol and a monocarboxylic acid wherein said monohydric alcohol is at least one saturated branched-chain aliphatic monohydric alcohol having between 16 and 36, carbon atoms and wherein said monocarboxylic acid is at least one saturated straight-chain aliphatic monocarboxylic acid having between 5 and 10, preferably 5 and 7, carbon atoms. In preferred lubricants, the monoester, or mixtures of monoesters, have a pour point of not more than -30° C. and a non-polarity index of at least 80.

The ester exhibits a kinematic viscosity at 100 °C of 1 to 4 centistokes and a kinematic viscosity ratio at 150°C/100°C of 0.6 or higher. The composition is at a temperature of 100 °C to 150 °C. There is also another lubricating composition having the ester and a polymeric viscosity modifier. There are also methods for using the lubricating compositions in the crankcase of an engine.

摘要: The present invention relates to a lubricating oil composition having improved fuel saving properties and also having excellent metal fatigue prevention properties and heat resistance and thus provides a lubricating oil composition for transmissions comprising: a lubricating base oil comprising (A) a mineral base oil having a 100°C kinematic viscosity of 1. 5 mm 2 /s or higher and 3.5 mm 2 /s or lower, a pour point of -25°C or lower, a viscosity index of 105 or greater, a %C P of 85 or greater, a %can of 2 or greater and 20 or less and a %C A of 3 or less in an amount of 50 to 97 percent by mass on the total base oil composition mass basis and (B) a monoester-based base oil having a 100°C kinematic viscosity of 2 to 10 mm 2 /s in an amount of 3 to 10 percent by mass on the total base oil composition mass basis; (C) a phosphorus acid ester in such an amount that the phosphorus content of the composition is from 250 to 350 ppm by mass on the phosphorus basis; and (D) a boronated ashless dispersant in an amount of 30 to 120 ppm by mass on the boron basis on the total lubricating oil composition mass basis, the ratio of the mass percent of boron to the mass percent of phosphorus in the composition (B/P) being from 0.07 to 0.42 and the composition having a 100°C kinematic viscosity of 2.5 to 4.0 mm 2 /s.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a lubricating oil composition having a low viscosity and an extremely high viscosity index as well as an excellent shearing stability. The present invention relates to a lubricating oil composition including the following components (A) to (C): (A) a low-viscosity synthetic oil including a compound containing an ether bond in a molecule thereof and having a kinematic viscosity of less than 10 mm 2 /s as measured at 40°C, in which a ratio of the number of oxygen atoms to the number of carbon atoms as constituents of the compound (O/C ratio) and the kinematic viscosity (mm 2 /s) of the compound as measured at 40°C satisfy the following formula (1): Kinematic Viscosity at 40 �¢ °C ‰¤ 12 - O / C ratio × 30 (B) a high-viscosity synthetic oil as a hydrocarbon-based synthetic oil having a kinematic viscosity of 40 mm 2 /s or more as measured at 100°C which includes at least one compound selected from the group consisting of an ±-olefin oligomer or a hydrogenated product of the ±-olefin oligomer, and an ethylene-propylene co-oligomer; and (C) a polymethacrylate having a weight-average molecular weight of 50,000 or less.
