A membrane contains a polymer composition is described. The polymer composition contains a) at least one polymer of PA, PVA, Cellulose CA, CTA, CA-triacetate blend, cellulose ester, cellulose nitrate, regenerated cellulose, aromatic, aromatic/aliphatic or aliphatic polyamide, aromatic, aromatic/aliphatic or aliphatic polyimide, PBI, PBIL, PAN, PAN-PVC copolymer, PAN-methallyl sulfonate copolymer, PEI, PEEK, sulfonated SPEEK, PPO, poly-carbonate, polyester, PTFE, PVDF, PP, a polyelectrolyte complex, PMMA, PDMS, aromatic, aromatic/aliphatic or aliphatic polyimide urethane, aromatic, aromatic/aliphatic or aliphatic polyamidimide, crosslinked polyimide or poly-arylene ether, PSU, PPSU and PESU, and b) at least one dope polymer DP1, which is a polyalkylene oxide with a molecular mass Mw of more than 100,000 g/mol and/or a K-value of 60 or 20 more.

The present invention relates to a method for producing polyaryl ether sulphone polyalkylene oxide block copolymers (PPC) comprising the polycondensation of a reaction mixture (RG) containing the components: (A1) at least one aromatic dihalogen compound; (B1) at least one aromatic dihydroxy compound; (B2) at least one polyalkylene oxide compound, which comprises at least one free hydroxy group (-OH) and at least one capped hydroxy group (-ORA); (C) at least one aprotic polar solvent; and (D) at least one metal carbonate, wherein the reaction mixture (RG) contains no substance that forms an azeotrope with water.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to thin film composite membranes (TFC membranes) comprising a substrate layer (S) based on a sulfonated polyphenylenesulfone, and a polyamide film layer (F) and further to a method for their preparation. Furthermore, the present invention is directed to osmosis processes, in particular to forward osmosis (FO) processes, using said membrane.

The present invention is directed to ultrafiltration membranes comprising a membrane substrate layer (S)based on a sulfonated polyaryleneethersulfonepolymer and to a method for their preparation. Furthermore, the present invention is directed to ultrafiltration processes making use of said membrane.
