The apparatus (10) maintains the oscillating compressive force applied by the chest band (12) to the chest of the person at a substantially constant level such that the person is able to continue chest expansions and contractions during a breathing cycle.

    摘要: A vest (11) for a human body (14) has an air core (36) coupled to a pulsator (12) operable to subject the vest to pulses of air which applies and releases high frequency pressure forces to the body. The pulsator (12) has tow diaphragms (89, 91) connected to an electric de motor (118) with rotary to reciprocating linear motion transmitting mechanisms (116, 117) operable to generate air pulses in an air pulsing chamber (87). The diaphragms (89, 91) also increase the pressure in a manifold chamber (88). A check valve (99) connects the manifold chamber (88) with a pulsing chamber (87) to allow pressurized air to flow from the manifold chamber (88) into the pulsing chamber (87). An air flow control valve (167) in communication with the manifold chamber (88) is used to adjust the pressure of the air in the manifolds and pulsing chambers.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a driving device for external counterpulsation, which includes solenoid valves (1), air cylinders (2) and pusher plates (3). The solenoid valves (1) control higher voltage driving the two way motion of pistons (21) in the fir cylinders (2), the pistons (21) act on the pusher plates (3), and the pusher plates (3) bear down on the extremities (5), so it can drive the blood circulation. The air cylinders (2) are driven in two way by liquid brought from the solenoid valves (1), they act quickly, so it can bring good effect of driving the blood circulation. Since the air cylinders (2) are driven by an air source with higher pressure, the air expended is less. The fact that the size of the device of air source for counterpulsation, the valve, the pipeline and so on reducing accordingly, makes the size of the device for counterpulsation reduced. So the device is portable, and it can be used in both the treat of counterpulsation, rescue by the bedside, and improving one’s health, health care, healing, or in the family.
