Abstract: The present invention relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to a method and an apparatus for indicating an uplink-downlink carrier frequency spacing, and a method and an apparatus for obtaining an uplink-downlink carrier frequency spacing, so that a terminal obtains a correct NB-IoT system uplink carrier frequency. The method is: obtaining, by a base station, a determining parameter used to determine an uplink-downlink carrier frequency spacing of a first cell, and generating indication information according to the determining parameter, where the indication message is used to indicate the uplink-downlink carrier frequency spacing of the first cell; and sending, by the base station, the indication information to a terminal device UE that initiates a request in the first cell to access an NB-IoT. The method for obtaining an uplink-downlink carrier frequency spacing is: initiating, by UE, a request in a first cell to access an NB-IoT, and receiving an indication message sent by a base station; and determining, by the UE according to the indication information, an uplink-downlink carrier frequency spacing corresponding to the first cell. Therefore, the base station can notify the UE of the uplink-downlink carrier frequency spacing corresponding to the first cell, so that the terminal obtains a correct uplink carrier frequency.

Abstract: Embodiments of user equipment (UE), an enhanced node B (eNB), and methods of signaling for proximity services and device-to-device (D2D) discovery in an LTE network are generally described herein. In some embodiments, the UE receives configuration information for a D2D discovery resource pool of a cell. The configuration information includes an indication that the D2D discovery resource pool has been logically divided into a plurality of sub-discovery resource pools. The UE performs an initial transmission of a discovery signal in a discovery period using a single D2D discovery resource from a first sub-discovery resource pool of the plurality of sub-discovery resource pools. The UE performs a number of additional transmissions of the discovery signal in the discovery period using additional D2D discovery resources from sub-discovery resource pools of the plurality of sub-discovery resource pools other than the first sub-discovery resource pool. Other apparatuses and methods are also described.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to a method and an apparatus for determining a bearer for a mobile edge platform. The method includes the following steps: A MEC obtains a data packet that carries an end marker, obtains, according to the data packet that carries the end marker, a bearer identifier and an identifier of UE in a handover procedure, and requests information about the second bearer from a node of a second bearer. The request carries the bearer identifier of the UE and the identifier of the UE. The node of the second bearer returns a response message and the information about the second bearer according to the request. The MEC receives the response message. The MEC stores the information about the second bearer according to the identifier of the UE and the bearer identifier of the UE. By means of the embodiments of the present invention, the MEC can determine a bearer for the UE after the handover of the UE, so that the MEC can normally communicate with the UE.
