    摘要: An imaging system for a precision mammographic needle biopsy system includes an x-ray camera whose housing includes a compression panel (24) for the breast, a portion of the compression panel being transparent to x-rays that have passed through the breast so that the surface on which the breast is positioned forms the outside surface of the camera head. Adjacent the interior of the transparent surface, are a scintillator and optics (38) for guiding an image formed when x-rays impinged upon the scintillation material to a CCD board (32) within the sealed camera housing. The x-ray camera contains within its housing all necessary analog and digital circuitry (47)-(49) for processing the image captured by the CCD array (32) and converting the image into a digital image. Included within the camera housing is a hermetically sealed inner housing (34) with cooling provisions for the CCD array (32).

    摘要: Portable antenna test apparatus has a test set positioned a determined distance from a number of antennas (3) of an aircraft. A transmitting module (6) of the test set contains low frequency, mid frequency and high frequency antennas connected to a radio receiver (15) and power amplifier (14) in and of the test set for receiving control commands and for transmitting a number of simultaneous test signals to the number of antenna (3) in the aircraft. A signal generator (7) produce low frequency, mid frequency and high frequency signals. A hand-held computer (5) is connected to a communications radio (2) in and of the aircraft via a radio interface adapter (4) of the hand-held and a control computer (10) is connected to the signal generator. The hand-held computer transmits commands via the aircraft radio, which commands are received by the receiver in the transmitting module. This receiver conveys the said commands to a control computer which then programs the signal generator. By this means, an operator in the aircraft cockpit remotely controls the signal generator.

    摘要: An assembly (5) for restraining the upper limbs of an occupant of a seat, particularly an aircraft ejector seat (1), includes a storage unit (65) which is adapted to be fixedly secured to an upper back portion (16) of the seat (1). The storage unit (65) houses a pair of movable cover members (69, 70) and first and second bladder units (75, 76). The cover members (69, 70) and bladder units (75, 76) are connected by means of straps (90, 91) to quick release fittings (94, 95) which mate with corresponding connecting members (111, 112) carried by the occupant and then to a fixed structure adjacent the seat (1). When it is desired to deploy the restraint assembly (5), a tension is applied to the straps (90, 91) which causes the cover members (69, 70) to extend around opposite sides and laterally inward of the occupant's body, about respective arms of the occupant, and the bladder units (75, 76) to extend about the occupant's neck. The bladder units (75, 76) are then inflated so as to permit undesirable movement of the occupant's head.
