    摘要: An exhaust gas measuring instrument has a mini-dilution tunnel (22) in which a part of exhaust gas in the exhaust pipe (15) of an engine is introduced through an sampling tube (30) and diluted with air, a measuring means (33 and 36) which measures specific components in the exhaust gas diluted in the mini-dilution tunnel (22), a high response differential pressure type extracted gas flow meter (31 and 40) which measures the exhaust gas flow rate (Qs) in the sampling tube (30), a high response differential pressure type bypassed gas flow meter (29 and 39) which measures the exhaust gas flow rate (Qb) in the exhaust pipe (15) and an arithmetic means (44) which calculates the flow rate split ratio R = Qb/Qs which is obtained by dividing the exhaust gas flow rate (Qb) by the exhaust gas flow rate (Qs). The exhaust gas measuring instrument further has a means by which the calibration coefficient (k) of the flow rate split ratio is obtained and a means which obtains the calibrated flow rate split ratio (k.R) by multiplying the flow rate split ratio by the calibration coefficient. The calibration coefficient (k) can be obtained by dividing a concentration split ratio (Rc) by the flow rate split ratio (R).

    摘要: A shipboard terminal (1) is provided on each of a plurality of boats. This shipboard terminal collects the outputs of a plurality of sensors (3) which detect the state of the boat's engine, plus the output of the GPS unit carried on the board. It periodically compares the outputs of this plurality of sensors with their pre-recorded normal ranges, and displays an alarm when a normal range is exceeded. It automatically transmits to a shore terminal (2), via a portable phone network, the data output from the plurality of sensors and the positions data output by the GPS unit, during each communication time which has been allocated to the boat in accordance with time data contained in the output of the GPS unit. The shore terminal (2) receives this data via the public switched telephone network, and records it. This system facilitates the monitoring, via software, of the state of small leisure craft or coastal fishing boats not exceeding several tens of tons, such boats being operated by crews with little knowledge or experience of marine engines. It thereby promotes the safe operation of such boats.

    摘要: A limited slip differential (10) for a vehicle comprises a friction clutch (22) disposed between a differential gear mechanism (12) and a drive wheel axle (90), a clutch control cylinder (23) for coupling and decoupling the friction clutch (22), a normally closed type solenoid valve (27) for charging compressed air to the cylinder (23) from a pressure air source and a normally opened type solenoid valve (28) for discharging compressed air from the cylinder (23) to the air.
    The normally closed type and normally opened type solenoid valves (27, 28) are operated by a control unit (29) in response to a low µ road start, a low µ road run, a straight run and a brake so as to charge and discharge compressed air to and from the cylinder (23) and thereby to control air pressure in the cylinder (23).
    A power device (60) for a vehicle is composed by adding an engine control cylinder (65) disposed in an acceleration control mechanism (64) and an engine control valve (66) for charging and discharging compressed air to the cylinder, and wherein during a low µ road run of the vehicle the engine control valve (66) is operated by the control unit (29) to charge compressed air to the engine control cylinder (65) thereby to cause the engine control cylinder (65) an acceleration return.
