The light-shading (2) film is a porous layer of inorganic pigment powder dispersed in glass matrix. The light-shading film (2) has small apertures at a portion corresponding to the infrared heater. Alternatively, it has a decreased thickness at the portion. In another alternative, a luster film is used in place of the inorganic pigment layer at the portion corresponding to the infrared heater.

Glass composition having a formula of R' 2 O-RO-SiO 2 (wherein R' is an alkali metal element and R is an alkaline earth metal element) is added with 0.01-0.6 of weight ratio of Mo (molybdenum) as MoO 3 and 0.01-1,0 of weight ratio of S to obtain the colored glass and the colored glass bulb therefrom. The colored glass having a formula of R' 2 O-RO-SiO 2 is formed to a desired shape to obtain the colored glass bulb, and the shaped hollow article is heated to 400-620°C to apply a coloring treatment thereto.

For providing a solar reflective glass block whose solar reflection characteristic is not lowered even if it is used for an external wall of a building over a long term and which can suppress as much as possible insufficiency of the lighting or the glare caused by reflection of the solar radiation, and a producing method thereof, a solar reflective glass block (10) is constituted of a glass press-formed body of a hollow box shape having a pair of mutually confronting transparent walls, and formed with a metal oxide film (11) on an inner side of at least one of the transparent walls. In the solar reflective glass block, the metal oxide film has a solar radiation reflectance of 15 to 60 %, a solar radiation absorptance of 5 to 60 % and a solar radiation transmittance of 20 to 70 %. For producing the foregoing solar reflective glass block, a pair of glass press-formed bodies, each having a box shape with a bottom and no top are first prepared, and then a solution containing metallic compound is sprayed onto an inner side of the bottom of at least one of the glass press-formed bodies so as to form a metal oxide film having a solar radiation reflectance of 15 to 60 %, a solar radiation absorptance of 5 to 60 % and a solar radiation transmittance of 20 to 70 %. Thereafter, open edges of the glass press-formed bodies are softened by heating, and then sealed together.

In order to provide a crystallized glass which can be shaped by the redraw forming and a method of manufacturing a crystallized glass article by the redraw forming, the crystallized glass contains precipitated crystals with a maximum grain size not greater than 5 µm and a glass phase at a ratio of 10 to 85 vol%, and has a softening point lower than a melting point of a predominant precipitated crystal, and a property such that crystallization does not progress even when heated at a temperature higher than the softening point. In order to manufacture the crystallized glass article formed by the redrawing, the above-described crystallized glass is preformed and then subjected to the drawing while being heated to a temperature higher than the softening point.
