Abstract:
Disclosed is a composition comprising, substantially consisting of or consisting of: - at least 30% of DMSO; and - at least 20% of a fatty acid methyl ester or a mixture of said type of esters, the fatty acid containing 6 to 10 carbon atoms, the percentages being in percent by weight in relation to the total weight of the composition. The invention also relates to the use of a composition of said type as a cleaning agent and/or dispersion and to a method for synthesizing said composition.
Abstract:
The present invention concerns a combination of reactive diluents comprising: - a first reactive diluent which is a polyester obtainable by reaction of a polyol with a fatty acid or a fatty acid methyl ester, and optionally an hydroxy acid, and - a second reactive diluent, which is a unsaturated dibasic acid ester. The present invention also concerns a process for preparing such a combination of reactive diluents, a composition comprising the combination, its preparation process and its use.
Abstract:
The present invention concerns compositions, and more specifically lubricating compositions, comprising an alternative to di-iso tridecyl adipate (DITA). The present invention therefore discloses compositions comprising di-(2-hexyldecyl) succinate, advantageously from a renewable source, and the uses thereof as lubricating compositions, in particular as hydraulic oils or engine oils.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a pigment concentrate comprising particles of one or more pigments dispersed in at least one dispersing agent, wherein the at least one dispersing agent comprises an ester of a polyol with at least one carboxylic according to formula I
wherein R is a hydrocarbon rest containing from 3 up to 27 carbon atoms, and wherein the polyol comprises isosorbide. Preferred carboxylic acids are C 4 -C 28 fatty acids.
