    摘要： An inflatable vehicle occupant protection device (14) is provided for being inflated with inflation fluid towards a seat (22) of the vehicle (12). The protection device includes a front portion (70) presented towards the vehicle seat (22) and helping to define an inflatable volume (54). The front portion (70) includes a pair of extensions (344, 444) overlaid on one another and interconnected to form a pocket (100) defining a collapsed volume (120) outside the inflatable volume (54). The pocket (100) extends horizontally across the front portion (70) and towards the inflatable volume (54). A tether (500) has a first end portion (502) secured to both interconnected extensions (344, 444) and a second end portion (504) secured to a portion of the protection device such that the size of the pocket (100) remains larger than a predetermined amount when the protection device is fully inflated.

    摘要： A locking tongue (10) for a seat belt system has a base part (12), a webbing slot (16) in the base part (12) through which the belt webbing (44) can extend, and a locking cam (20) associated to the webbing slot (16) and supported at the base part (12). The locking cam (20) is movable between a rest position and a clamping position. A biasing means (26; 70) biases the locking cam (20) towards the rest position. The locking cam (20) can assume at least three positions, namely the rest position in which the belt webbing (44) can pass freely through the webbing slot (16), a clamping position in which the locking cam (20) presses the belt webbing (44) against the clamping edge (42) of the webbing slot (16) such that the belt webbing (44) is tightly clamped, the biasing means (26; 70) being able to return the locking cam (20) from the clamping position into the rest position, and a locking position in which the locking cam (20) locks the belt webbing (44) in the webbing slot (16), the biasing means (26; 70) not being able to return the locking cam (20) from the locking position towards the rest position.

    摘要： An air bag (12) is inflatable by inflation fluid. A support member (20) has a first vent opening (44) for enabling flow of inflation fluid away from the bag (12).
    A vent member (46) is movable relative to the first vent opening (44) between a first condition in which the vent member does not close the opening that enables flow of inflation fluid away from the bag (12) and a second condition in which the vent member at least partially blocks the flow of inflation fluid through the opening and away from the bag. A tether (50) has a first portion (52) connected for movement with the bag (12) as the bag is deployed. The tether (50) is associated with the vent member (46) and causes it to move relative to the opening (44) from the first condition to the second condition as the bag (12) is deployed.
