    Abstract: The invention relates to the creation of simulation scenes from a specified view point. The method of the invention consists in obtaining digital photographic images of the scene from the specified view point, detecting objects in the digital photographic images, extracting masks of the object, and associating a distance to the digital photographic image, and a lower distance to the object. The scene thus created provides a photorealistic scene wherein 3D objects can be inserted. According to the distances of the 3D objects, they can be displayed behind or beyond the masks, but always behind the digital photographic images that defines the background of the scene.

    Abstract: Processing of a bulk liquid including particles, including use of a rotating strainer surface with openings disposed on a circumference thereof, the openings allowing an extracted liquid in the bulk liquid to pass through the strainer surface while preventing particles from passing through the strainer surface, such that a concentration of particles in the extracted liquid is less than in the bulk liquid; an extracted liquid outflow port which outputs the extracted liquid from an interior region of the rotating strainer surface; and a motor configured to rotate the strainer surface at a speed sufficient to generate a centrifugal force or turbulence at the openings sufficient to prevent the particles from clogging the openings, wherein the strainer surface is rotated and the extracted liquid is output through the extracted liquid outflow port when the strainer surface is fully submerged in the bulk liquid.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a computer-implemented method, computer program, and device for evaluating pipe condition of pipe sections of a pipe network. To do so, the pipe sections are clustered into classes based on structural and environmental parameters; within each class a sample of pipe sections are selected to be inspected. The scores that are obtained through the inspection are used to train a model of pipe conditions of pipes in a class, in order to estimate the pipe conditions of pipes that have not been inspected.
